We are mailing off a money order today to pay off one of the huge bills that has been lurking over our heads.
This makes 4 down & two to go. It feels so good to be making progress in getting out of debit!!:D

I know that feeling so well. We inherited some money from my in-laws and used that money to pay off our debts. An awful way to get to this point, but it has helped us tremendously.

Congratulations...now on to tackle the last two!!!!

That's great!! I'm proud of you for paying off your debts. So many people just charge and charge and don't even worry about getting out of debt.

Yeah we made the horrible mistake of charging stuff while I was working and he had just moved here Under the assumption "he would find a job here easily". Well that wasn't as easy as we thought. Then I lost my job because they shut down the dayshift. He finally found his job & now we are playing catch up. We will never have credit cards again. Too many things can go wrong & cause it all to fall apart. Thank you all for the support :D I knew if anyone would share in the joy I would find it here. You ladies are wonderful :)

Don't think that will happen now anyway--I don't look that young now.
