If you could go back in time five or ten years and you could talk to yourself, what would you say to yourself? Any advice? Any warnings?

Be very careful who you become friends with. People don't always turn out the way you expect. (Obviously, I'd be more specific with myself, but that is sufficient for here.)

Be more confident. You are so much more capable than you were raised to feel. Don't be anxious. The right things will happen at the right times, so enjoy today for today.

Oh, and buy stock in Google. NOW.

DO what you feel IS right, stop listening to others that keep throwing the odds in your face! When it feels right, you know its right!
Select your friends VERY carefully!!

The grass is not always greener on the other side........

Always tell the people in your life you love them and spend as much time with your grandparents and parents and other loved ones as you can because they can be taken away in a heatbeat and then its too late to say all of the things you should have said or to spend the time you should have with them.

Take your health seriously because once it is gone it is so hard to get it back.

Buy Sunmicrosystems but sell it when it gets to $165. Don't buy that mutual fund that's tied to Enron. Buy Walmart, Yahoo and Google when it goes public.

Have faith, things will get unbelieveably better by the end of the year.

When you visit NYC, don't just drive by the World Trade Center. Go to the top, enjoy the view, and have dinner there.

Spend as much time with your girls as you can, put work a far third or fourth. They will grow up before you know it!!!

Take that vacation to Yellowstone.

That's a tough one. I don't think I could have changed anything between my daughter and myself or kept her healthy. I definitely agree with Marilyn, and would have bought Yahoo, Google and Walmart and a house in downtown Brooklyn, which has now become the new Manhattan.

Marilyn what you wrote is so true,
I have many of times been in the WTC and had dinner at Windows on the World and did enjoy the view. Sorry I don't have many photos there, but I do have photos of my children when they were young at my husbands Christmas party in the building. I would add invest in real estate better than the stock market. Your returns are so much more profitable. Someone mentioned the grass is not always greener on the other side, this is so true. They always say opposites attract , I say the opposite I think you should have a lot in common.

Gina, you are so right about the real estate. We could all be millionaires many times over if we had invested in the right real estate 10 years ago. Don't know why I didn't think of that.

Don't 'settle' for any man. Don't let yourself be taken advantage of. Listen to the people that really love you.

Going to Europe will be the BEST decision you could ever make in you life at this point.

Spend more time at your grandmothers house while in Europe. (oh how I regret not doing this!!! She feel ill with two strokes a few months after we left.)

Do more research. Get the work Visa for two years, not 6 months!!!

Learn as much as you can in school, don't take the easy way out!!!!

Those are a few.:o

Go to class.

Be careful with who you give your heart to, both male and female. Make people earn your trust.

Spend as much time with Mom as possible. Go home to visit more often.

DON'T use the credit card to pay bills or buy that item you don't need. In fact, just don't apply for any, especially not just so you can get the free football T-shirt.

---

That's probably about it. I'm thankful for my experiences because they've made me who I am today. However, in some cases, I probably didn't need so much experience! :D
