View Full Version : Friend in an auto accident
Girls I have terrible news. I just found out that a friend that I worked with and have just seen on Sat. was in a serious auto accident last night. He fell asleep at the wheel and his car flipped over. From what I have hear he is in a coma, I believe in the power of prayers , please keep him in your prayers. He is a wonderful man and has justed become a grandfather to a new baby girl.

Oh I'm so sorry Gina, I hope everything turns out ok. If you get to go see him, most people can hear your voice when they are in a coma so stay positive & remind him that he has to come back to spend time with his new granddaughter. *hugs*
Thank you girls, here is an update. No one outside the family is allowed to see him he is in still in critical condition. We heard some encouraging news today, they did a brain scan and he does have brain activity. He is still in the coma and has many internal injuries.
I hope each day brings more encouraging news. They say he fell asleep at the wheel and his car hit the divider on the highway and he flipped over, lucikly no one was on the other side of highway. Time will tell.. Please continue to pray for him.

Thanks for asking, he is still in a coma, but is responding to his family. Moving legs trying to open eyes. Like I mentioned he has brain activity and has no bleeding of the brain which is a good sign, his body injuries can heal he needs no surgery. The only concern is that he is not out of coma , They will be doing another scan in a day or two. I have heard of stories where people do come out weeks after and are fine. Please keep him in your prayers..

They need to keep talking to him as much as possible. Tell funny stories what he will remember.
My aunt was in a coma for 6 months but was not near any family, too far away, she never woke up. We all believe that if she would have been near family members she would have recovered.

Gina, how is your friend doing? I've thought about him today.
Girls, I am a little under the weather, my friend is still in a coma, its been 4 weeks now. he has 5 adult daughters and he is divorced. His girls are not allowing anyone to see him. I feel so bad we seem to be out of the loop , no one knows whats going on. I pray each day, but I am starting to worry. Last I heard they were trying to wean him off the resperator, he has brain activitiy.. Please keep praying.
