Does anyone know of a way to cure a fungal sinus and ear infection? I have been struggling with it for several years and have taken several perscription medications and have had several surgeries on my sinuses and ears to no avail. I wonder if there are any holistic, or alternative cure that have worked for anyone else in the past.

Sorry, but I don't know of anything either. Whenever someone in my family has a headache we don't mess with it. They go to the doctor because I have no idea of anything that makes it better. I hope you find something to relieve your ailment.
A dear friend of mine suffered from a long term systemic fungal infection, so I do know a little about it. Her dr told her it's like having a yeast infection in your system that pops up in any damp, dark, warm spot that can ake you miserable. She did finally get rid of hers by following a specific diet and taking anti-fungal meds for several months that included eliminating sugars and carbohydrates from her diet. I did some research online and found the following link that tells more about it. I hope it helps! I know my friend was truly miserable with hers.

Thank you so much for the link. I have researched any sites but haven't seen this one yet and I am going to give the natural treatments a try. Some of them sound promising. At this point I am up for anything. I have tried all the medical treatments and they didnt do any good and my ENT specialist said there is nothing more he can do for me so it is worth a try. If anyone else has any ideas I would be glad to hear them.

cinnamon, garlic & tree tea are all good for fungal infections. Ground ivy & ginko are good for sinuses & ear problems. I hope that helps. :)

Ginko can be bought as pills at walmart now. The ground ivy is a topical solution. use it just under the ear & behind it whereever he feels the pain but NOT inside the ear.

Is the ivy for the pain or for the infection? I will have to give these a try also. Thank you.

The ivy can actually help both. It draws out infection & promotes ear healing. It also will help with the pain esp. if you warm it just alittle before applying it. :)
