Lastnight my son did the cooking, he told me to stay out the kitchen, and if he needed me, he would call. He made hubby and i a surprise dinner. I was like "oh dear" but i knew he had printed the recipes off internet, he bought the ingredients that i didnt have in stock.
He layed the table, with wine glasses, a bottle of white wine, and candles.
So he called us to the table, he made Tagliatelli (vegitarian) for me, for starters, the main meal was chicken Tandoori with basmati rice, and veggies, he made is so i could eat the rice, veggies, and served the gravy seperate so i could have some of that too. Our desert was banana fritters with vanilla icecream.
It was soooooooooooooooo sweet the way he did it, wow.... both my hubby, and i are so impressed! He poored the wine, and explained all the dishes to us... awww... really we were in total aweeeee :D
Hes a great kiddo, is all i can say... we count our Blessings thats for sure!!!!

Thanks girls, it really was very special, and no there was no special occasion, i think it was just a "i love you guys" treat from hes side. Well, he sure did put a lotta love into all hes work.
Gina, he is 15 :) im still in total awe.
Diana, we spoke to him lastnight about going into horeca, but he is in agricultural college, and said, he did prefer what he was doing... we both said, its never too late, if he ever changes hes mind, we will back him up.
Traci, ofcourse you can borrow him :D you will love hes food.

Mandy it sounds like you have an amazing son too!! Are we lucky Mom's or what??? My son's specialty is a meatloaf dinner. I've always thought he should become a chef or something. He loves to bake.
