I quit work in March, and have stayed home since, keeping busy with things I choose to do rather than HAVE to do. I've felt better, but still kind of got a twinge of guilt every now and then, thinking that maybe I should really be working.
Last friday I had some medical tests done, and the verdict is in... my overall health has improved and I'm able to decrease some of my prescription meds! Considering much of what ails me is progressive, both my dr and I are shocked. To actually be IMPROVING is almost unheard of! I was hoping that maybe early retirement would help me slow the progression... or just give me time to enjoy myself while I can. So this is just icing on the cake and I HAD to tell you all the good news!
