My husband and I have reservations (which have been made for months and months now) for our last camping trip of the year in October.

I now just showed my husband an email from his golfing friend we just received about a golf/lodge stay in October to end his golf league season with all his "buddies". (guys only for this trip of course, then again...I wouldn't even think about wanting to go) It's the same weekend planned as our camping trip.

I bet he choses the golf league....Which do you all think he will choose?? LMAO!!

Men, they are so darn predictable!! ;)

If you didn't already have camping plans with you I'd say he'd go golfing... but what type of hubby is he? Is he the type to cancel plans with you to be with his buds?

I kinda want to say he will pick the golfing. Only because this "golfing lodge weekend away" thingy has been something he's talked about for over a month now but he didn't know the date until last night.

We've camped previously this year and it wouldn't hurt anything really if we didn't go. And besides, I know he really was looking forward to this golf trip.

Most likely I will just tell him to go with his friends, it's not really a biggy. I think Id feel too guilty going camping knowing how much he is missing out on had he gone golfing for the weekend. We could camp anytime, but this golf weekend might not happen again and I don't want him to miss out on it.

He's very lucky to have someone like you!! :) I'm sure he'll appreciate you telling him to go on the golfing weekend. If he goes golfing that weekend you should treat yourself to a day at the spa!

It sounds to me like your husband is very lucky to have you as his wife. I'm a little too selfish sometimes.. and I would probably be a little upset if he chose the golf outing. You're a good woman!! NOW STOP IT, YOU'RE MAKING ME LOOK BAD!!! LOLOL

Ooohhhhh spa day!! Now that sounds absolutely devine. What a great idea!! :p

This morning over coffee I mentioned to him that I hoped he'd just go away for his golf thingy. His eyes lit up like a child, LOL. Men can be so easy to please at times!! :D

Thank you for the compliment Luv2Tech! ;)

Could yall not put off the romantic camping trip until the next weekend? I would let him go golfing with his buddies so he is happy and I would take a spa day and then yall can go camping another weekend. Guys ARE so easy to please...and they are SOOOO sweet and SOOOO happy when you please them. I love it. :D :D :D

That's a wonderful idea, but unfortunately the camp site is reserved. By this time all the sites book up months in advance. It's really not that big of a deal. We will have plenty of time next year for camping and all that stuff. :p Somehow in the end it all works out just fine.

LOL ~ I guess I made it easy on him. I explained to him that I felt he should go do his golfing guy weekend and to enjoy it. That there will be camping next Spring for us, etc. No bribes and not expecting anything in return.

Life's been kinda crazy w/ our business so he deserves this time away. In the long run it's good for both of us. :p

This is where the guilt factor comes in handy!

Let him go... no complaints... no nagging....

Then book a romantic stay at the Ritz for the following weekend! ;)

Being Jewish, my Hubby has guilt about having guilt! I've learned to use it to my advantage!:p
