Smootchie is back home! What a happy day!

Jessie called me thrilled and told me that he had been found by a woman who was going to keep him, but he was so full of burrs, she decided not to. She gave him to
Janet, who was also going to keep him. Janet cleaned him up, fed him well, etc.
Marge went over to Janet's house and saw her "new dog." Then Marge went to the bank and saw the posters Jess and Steve had put up. She ran back to Janet's house and they called Jessie, who ran over in her pj's to get him.

So all is well in their world today.

Okay - question - why would the first woman or Janet not call the vet, whose name and phone number is on Smootchie's rabies tag? Also, Brandon (my grandson) has a playdate with Janet's son tomorrow, so he would have found him anyway. Marge is
Jessie's co-Girl Scout Leader and friend.

Not sure how to answer that one Judy. Some people see things that come into their lives (if it's not too much bother) and claim it as a gift...while the true owners are saddened by their loss.

Makes ya just want to slap some sense into them...don't it?

Oh yeah!!!!! I'm so glad that Smootchie is back!!!! That's great news!!!!

I wish that I could understand why some people do what they do! I'd be a rich woman if I knew that!!!!!!

Awesome news!!!! So happy for you, Jesse and her family. This is one worry off their minds!!!!

I, too, just do not understand how some people think!!! We never found our Goldie who disappeared at Thanksgiving. Just hope someone nice is caring for her.

I'm sure they are Marilyn. Jessie was sure that Smootchie was no longer alive and here he was safe and sound right across the road.

It's strange how people do just keep the dog when they find it. At least they're taken care of. Jessie gave Janet a reward, even though she doesn't believe that she didn't see the rabies tag. It's a very small town and you don't want to start trouble.
After all, she did get the dog back in good, healthy condition.

The main thing here is that all is well and ends well.. Couldn't ask for a better ending...

No, you couldn't! I keep telling Jessie that she had a guardian angel this week.
