So there I was just relaxing in front of the T.V.
When the grandkids yelled, "Hey Gramma, come see the kittens we found, we made a nice bed for them in you sunroom.

Hahahaha!
Aw what cute little stinkers!
I've always thought having a pet skunk would be cool. Sure would keep the salesmen and such away!

I couldn't figure out what the picture was.......but they're skunks!!!! How funny!!!!
Years ago, my daughter, Dae Lynn, and a friend dug out several baby skunks from our shop. They were so small and had to be fed during the night. After the first night my daughter was done!! Her friend kept his for awhile then they found a person who had a license to keep wild animals and she fed it and trained it to go back into the wild. I think that they (or maybe the dog) killed the mama so she wasn't a problem for them. I heard that if they're descented they make good pets.....like a cat!
Diana, I've heard that too. The suregery removes their ability to spray but they still have a skunky odor. So you wouldn't want them as a house pet. lol
A very good friend of mine has 2 dogs and she heard the dogs outside suddenly start to squeal and carry on. She opened the door to let them in and learned they'd both been sprayed by a skunk. By the time she got them back outside the odor was already in the house.
She did everything she could to get the dogs and the house de-skunked and after almost a week she felt she'd succeeded.
She's also a Sunday school teacher so went to teach the following week and when she walked in people started sticking their noses in the air and sniffing... Oh wow there must be a skunk outside they all decided... be careful going out to your cars!
Donna was too embarrassed to admit the smell was coming from her. She's gotten desensitized to it so hadn't realized she smelled as bad as her dogs. :D
