Yesterday was one of the most amazing times I've ever had! :) Just thought I'd share some pics with you.

1 & 2- A pretty fountain downtown. (Can you find the bird?!)
3. A sillouette of the skyline. I just loved the way the sun was shining through the clouds!
4. The Bean! (This place was awesome!)

LOVE the pics Angie, the first ones are amazing, the skyline, and fountain pics are gorgeous, is the bean a big statue, or a building? It's really lovely.
The girls are having a blast, their faces show how much fun they are having :D:thumbup::thumbup:
Looking forward to seeing more pics, so come on ladies ;)

Our hotel room was amazing! It was huge, decorated beautifully, and equipped with anything you might possibly need while there--including dishes, pots, pans, and a dishwasher!

The last pic is from downtown. You'll have to ignore the reflection in the bottom left corner...this one was taken from inside the car. lol

Oh Angie, keep them pictures coming. The room looks very nice and cozy.

These are from the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower. (They were taken through glass, so I apologize if there's a reflection.)

I am so loving these pictures...if you're on the 103rd floor, how many floors are there? There's no need to apologize for any of the pictures Angie, they are really good!

1. Another from the top of the Sears Tower.
2. The elevator ride to the top. Look how many people they crowded in there! The pic is the mirrored ceiling. It was difficult to take a pic without being able to move my arms very much. lol
3 and 4. A few more of that pretty fountain.

From the post #17, what is that red building?

I don't know that we ever knew what the other buildings were. It certainly stuck out though.

You'll notice that there are a lot more pictures of Dae Lynn and I then of Angie. She took a lot of pictures but once in a while we took the camera away from her and took her picture too. We had a blast!!! I loved the day that we had with Angie!!!!

Janet, Millenium Park was right on Lake Michigan in the downtown area. It's where the fountain, the flower garden, the christian music concert, and the Bean was at. I think that there may have more things there but we didn't see them. We spent the afternoon there and there wasn't any cost except for parking.

We saw the Sears tower, ate a deep dish pizza, and spent the afternoon at the park and probably spent around $100 for the three of us that day. I didn't think that was very bad. Parking was pretty expensive for the Sears Tower and we ate left-overs from Friday night for supper.

It really just sounds so wonderful. I regret it so bad that I didn't brave up and drive anyway. I am sooooo mad at myself.

Diana, I was going to send this to you in a PM, but it wouldn't let me insert an image. I made an avatar for you that you can use if you'd like. (Only if you want to though!) I thought this pic of you was just GORGEOUS! You are such a lovely lady and I'm so happy that I got the chance to meet you and Dae Lynn.

Angie, you took such great pictures!! The Bean pictures will always bring back fun memories because of the good time we had!!! You got some really good pictures looking up on the inside!!! I didn't take as many on my camera as I thought that I had. It must have been because I was using your camera and Dae Lynn's that day too. You also had some really good pictures that we took of you! What did Brendon think of them? I have a really good one of you with the flowers.

I'm going to definitely change my avatar!! Thanks!!!

Hey Diana, I just wanted to let you know that I wasn't trying to make your avatar smaller than the limit. If you click on the pic, you can get a slightly bigger version. The forum automatically resizes it when you attach an image in the middle of a post.

I hope you've had a good day!

I thought you might like it better full sized. :) If you ever need a new avatar or anything, I'd be happy to do it for you. I love working with pictures.

Angie,

I'd love to let you lose in NYC with a camera! My second ex was a photographer.
He sees most of the world as "how would I frame this, what angle, best light, etc."

I love your new avatar Diana, and yours too Angie. I liked the last one with the mirror image too.

You should set aside a day to just walk around with your camera! That would be awesome. I'd love to see the pics you'd take. :)

The Red Building in the Chicago Skyline:

CNA Plaza is a 600-foot (183 m), 44-story high-rise building located at 333 South Wabash Avenue in Chicago (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago). It is a simple, rectangular International Style (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Style_%28architecture%29) building, but it is unique in that the entire building is painted bright red (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red), turning an otherwise ordinary-looking structure into one of the most eye-catching buildings in the city. It was designed by the firm of Graham, Anderson, Probst & White (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham%2C_Anderson%2C_Probst_%26_White) and was completed in 1972 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972)
