Canada's litter will be 8 weeks old on Wednesday. I have families picking up one that day, 2 on Thursday, one on Friday, and I'm sure the others won't be far behind. They've gotten so big, rough and loud, I'm kind of looking forward to having fewer of them.
When I go in the run or let them out now, I am attacked. They jump on my legs, tug on my pants and shoes, leaving scratches all over me. Quite often they draw blood in their excitement to get attention. I look like I've been running through the briars!
I imagine once they've all left Gypsy will be lonely, since she's integrated herself into the litter so firmly that Canada doesn't seem to notice she's an "extra".
In another week Bella and her crew can be moved outside. Their eyes are opening now, they're starting to get up on their legs to walk, so she's leaving them alone for longer periods of time now too.
