 I just can't believe it's time already. I have to pick up the little darlings tomorrow morning. I'm so glad I was able to get all the work done that I wanted.
I have even more kids than I did last year. I feel so bad for them to sit in such crowded conditions, but there is really nothing I can do about it. I have kids sitting 3 to a seat 7 rows back and there are 12 total rows. The older ones sit in the back and they just get too big to sit 3 to a seat.
I also have 6...yes 6 new kindergarten students...this ought to be fun...LOL.
Wow Janet school starts early by you. I guess it ends in May thats early too. Good luck with the little ones .

That's a lot of kids, Janet!! I'm sure that the kindergarders will be cute to watch. That is such a neat age and they say the cutest things! You sure got a lot done this summer! Our school starts next week and I'm not looking forward to it! I like for my daughter and grandchildren to be home!!!!

We go back Sept 2nd. My kids never took the bus as little ones...our town was so small everyone walked or was driven. I can't imagine putting my kindergartener on a bus, especially with big kids there too!lol. Once they got to high school they took a bus because we didn't have a high school in our town. Last year when we moved, we moved to the town where the kids go to HS so now they either walk or get driven.
Hope your first day is a good one!

Janet, how did things go this morning? I've been thinking about you all morning wondering how things went.
Good luck Janet, I hope they're a nice bunch of kids so you're not pulling your hair out.
Our school starts on the 29th, so they have a little free time yet. I'm glad mine are past that age. lol

My bus is so crowded...and it's so hot here. There is nothing I can do, the buses don't have air conditioning...LOL. I was given more students today so that makes them 3 to a seat 8 rows back. The last 4 rows have two in a seat. It was nice to see them all again, but I can wait to see them again for another 2.5 months....LOL.
Aww Janet sorry the bus is not air conditioned... So sounds like your acclimating to work. Just start counting down the days to the jewish holidays..lol Which are righ around the corner. lol I don't know if you get those days off by me, maybe they give one day off for the holy holidays. But in NYC they are off everyone of them.

I'm sorry that it's so hot there. We're getting rain about all week it looks like so it will be fairly nice here. Maybe some of our weather will head your way. Our school starts the 21st and Jaci will be driving instead of riding the bus. This is the first time in years that I haven't had to fill out the bus form. You sure have a lot of students in your bus. Our buses don't have nearly that many in them.
Shada, Janet won't want to hear about snow when she's driving the bus and you should know that she absolutely HATES winter. We try NOT to remind her that it does come once a year, like it or not! LOL

Yes, winter is not my favorite time of year, but heck...summer isn't either...LOLOL. I do love spring and fall though. I definitely like driving the bus on the winter roads better than my van. The bus is so much heavier and doesn't slide near as easy.
Don't remember if posted or not, but 3 of the 6 kindergarten studenst are starting sometime next week and they are triplets. 2 boys and 1 girl.
Triplets? Wow I bet there's ONE happy mom that school's starting! LOL
