Took my sweet little Joey to the Vet this morning for his annual. The Vet said he was "PERFECT", but I already knew that...LOL. I get so embarassed sometimes, because I can get so teary eyed talking about my Joey. I love my girls, but Joey is my precious little boy and I love him so much.

Don't we get all tied up in our little guys? I think that Reuger's pretty special too!

Don't know what it is about the boys, but mine is so much more loving than my girls, although they are loving too, just on their time.

We have had girls in the past but I am partial to boys. Diesel is soooo spoiled... Don't get me wrong the girls were spoiled too. Like Janet said you could spoil them when they wanted to be spoiled.. If that makes any sense. Diesel stays stuck up my butt all the time. He is laying here under the covers with me now. The girls I have had in the past all seemed to be more independent.

My baby was a little sore this morning, but after getting up, moving, going outside, he's doing much better now. Still sore to the touch, but better.

Where would we be without our furkids??
I can't imagine my life without furkids in it. They bring us such joy and truly love unconditionally. My oldest is 17 now. I don't think he will be with me much longer.. really slowing down and his back legs are giving out on him. Poor old fella.

Janet, I'm so glad he got such a good report!
I too know what you mean. I have 5 girls and I love them all or I wouldn't have bought them. But Chip is the one I favor too. He's the one I choose the girls to compliment... He's the one I most enjoy just cuddling with and making a total fool of myself over. lol He's the basis of all my decisions concerning the dogs. The one who will certainly never at any price be sold.

Why is Joey sore? Did I miss something?

He got his annual shots between the shoulder blades and it got a little sore. I usually pick him up right under the front legs, but until the soreness goes away, I have to put my hand under his belly. He does better every day.

Sometimes it seems like the differences between large and small dogs is almost like 2 different species. I give shots and they don't even flinch... have yet to see one act sore after. I wouldn't know how to take care of a small dog!
I'm glad it's improving.

Diesel was sore for a good 2 days after his last set of shots. He was even limping.. I ended up laying him on the heating pad and that seemed to help a lot!

Good to hear Joey passed his annual with flying colors. Isn't funny that the boys always steal your heart - I love both my dogs, but Pip is really mama's little man. Which is probably good, since Ryssa is a daddy's girl and really has no use for me when Jim is around.
