While my son was at work this afternoon, hubby and I drove to Lafayette to the Barnes & Noble Bookstore there. We have both been wanting to sell a few things on ebay, but really don't have the know how. So we bought a couple of books that I'm hoping will give us some better insight to what we need to do.

Not sure what we're wanting to sell at this time, but maybe some of my sister-in-laws things. If she won't come back for it and pay what it took to bail it out of storage, then it's going on the market...LOL.

Diana....don't you sell some things once in awhile? You make searching for things sound so easy, so I'm hoping hubby and I will learn something about selling some odds and ends.

Last summer I sold a lot of things I had around the house on Ebay.

It is super easy. Worst thing is the trip to the Post Office to send the stuff out.
Gotta warn ya.. it is addictive! Almost as much fun as buying!

I love Ebay.

Yes, I've sold some things. Give me a call and I'll help you with what I can or just send me a pm.

Here's a post where I told about some of the features on e-bay.

I am so glad you found this. I was telling my husband that very thing you had in post number 20 of that thread. I told him I thought it was you who told me. He's getting a whole lot better on the computer so he is really ready to try. I thought, heck, now is the time for both of us to learn. Thanks Diana for the link. I think this is going to be fun. First though, I am going to read the books and see what I can learn.

I just went through that link's posts and copy and pasted onto a 'cheat' sheet. I named it 'Diana's Ebay Tips'...lol

You're always helpful!!! Now I just need to read the books, he's been reading one of the books quite a bit today. We are anxious to give it a try and see what happens. I really would rather he did it and me just help, like with pictures and things like that. He could handle the rest...???..LOL

It sounds like you two are getting along better since he changed jobs. I hope so!

Good luck with the eBay selling goes well. My daughter and SIL do it too, and they also say the biggest problem is going to the Post Office.

Yes, we are kinda Judy. I mean, I still think he's selfish and a money hoarder, but we are at least talking more. That's a huge step. For the most part I just kind of went my own way. He seems better and doesn't get on my nerves near as bad as he did when he worked at the other job. Time will tell.

Hubby is sure reading the ebay books. Guess I should have known that if there was money behind it....I could probably get him to do most anything....LOL. Not sure if he's been learning anything yet, but he's been reading a bit of them everynight.
