I recently decorated a tin box to use for a recipe box. The kids were over and just loved it and asked if I'd let them decorate a box of their own. So I ordered some boxes and we spent an afternoon decorating them. They each turned out so pretty and unique! Also, you get to see all of my beautiful grandchildren!!

OOPS, I clicked on Submit before I got the pictures added.

From left to right, back row-- Karley, Kiley, Kera, Daya
Front row--Karlie, and Elijah

Jaci also decorated a tin box but she's not in the picture.

Those are so neat Diana....what did you use to decorate them with. I like the Country Girl one the best.

I ordered the tin boxes from Oriental Trader but you can find them at scrapbook stores. Then we used scrapbook paper to put on them and stickers. I used my Cricut to cut out the kids' names. The cowgirl one is Daya's and Amy did most of it for her. The cowboy one is Elijah's and I helped him but he put on his own stickers. They weren't very straight but it showed that it was made by him. The girls pretty much did their own. Picking out the paper was the hard part!!

Amy also made Karlie's for her too. She pretty much lost interest after a few minutes. Also, on the cowboy and cowgirl we used one of Glen's old hankies to tie around the handle.

Your babies are beautiful and their boxes are pretty.

So, are you taking orders for boxes?

I guess I could decorate one for you, Sandy. You'd have to let me know what colors and style and I'd have to figure out the price. Just let me know.

My first idea would be dog-related, with pictures of my Yorkies, maybe to keep their heartworm pills and such in. But, maybe I'd like bright kid colors, with pictures of my g-kids, to keep the rocks and things they bring me.

You're in business!

Anyone else interested in a box? I'm going out of town on Saturday and can pick up the supplies. I'm thinking that with shipping the total will be $15.

I do want one Diana! My den is green with oak furniture. It's a mix of contemporary furniture and antiques.

I think maybe green, cinammon, brown, a bit of leopard skin. What do you think?

I don't know if I can find the leopard skin but I'll look. What color of green? And cinnamon as in a dark red or a brown?
