I was on the computer this morning looking for a program to give me a discount on this Lyrica that I'm taking. When I finally got done I went in to check on Karlie. Actually, I can see her when I'm on the computer because the door to our office is slanted and looks right into the living room, anyway towards the tv where Karlie is usually at. I went into the kitchen and she followed me in there........well, I took a look at her and she had green all over her face, almost from ear to ear!!!! Then I noticed her hand was all green to, expecially her fingernails!!!! She has some Crayola paints that are like markers and they are all contained in the pen that she played with earlier. Usually she paints all over some colorful envelopes that I have and they're gifts for someone. She always enjoys it.
I asked her how the paint got on her fingers and told her to come into the bathroom. She kept saying "Don't spank me!!" I asked her several times how the paint got on her fingers but she denied doing it herself. I finally told her that if she told me the truth that she would not get spanked so she finally told me that she had done it. While I was washing it off I found out that the other hand was painted blue!!! It's a good thing that Dae Lynn wasn't here because she would have certainly been spanked. I hope that I helped her to know how important it is to tell the truth!!.........................Ahhhhhhh........ju st another day of being a Grandma!!!!!!

I was trying to get Karlie ready for her nap after lunch but she has a stuffed lion that we bought for her in Branson and it got diarrhea. She held it over the toilet for quite a while but still it got poop all over the bathroom but, thank goodness, Karlie cleaned it up!!!............................................. .......Can we say "procrastination"?

Diana.....lol....I don't know how you do it. She has got one imagination doesn't she???? You did teach her about telling the truth in a very good way. You truly are a great grandmother!
She is so cute Diana! Thank goodness you are able to stay one step ahead of her.
I love the way you taught her about telling the truth. She is a lucky little girl to have you as her Grandmother.
How is the lion today? I hope his diarrhea is gone!

She does have quite an imagination and I have encouraged it. I just love it!! I don't watch her on Saturdays so I don't know how the lion is today!!

Diana, it's quite a blessing that you came into Karlie's life, and that she came into yours, too.

You should make a little book of all the funny things she says so you can give it to her when she's grown:p

Ok, I have another one!!!
Yesterday Jaci and I were fixing lunch when Karlie started saying "You can't look at my bottom!" Jaci and I just looked at each other wondering just where that remark was coming from. She repeated it over and over and I reassured her that we weren't going to look at her bottom. When she started saying "Don't spank me!" I decided that something was wrong and I needed to check into it. I called Karlie over and again she said "Don't spank me!" I asked her what was wrong and she repeated the phrase so I asked her if she had peed her pants and she said "No". Then she said "If I tell you the truth will you not spank me?" She surprised me because she obviously remembered what had happened the other day. I told her that I wouldn't spank her then she told me that she had pooped her pants. I had her turn around so I could see but all I was was a little bit in her panties where she hadn't wiped well. I told her that I was proud of her for telling the truth and Jaci cleaned her up and put clean panties on her. She is such a smart little girl and I'm so proud that she learned the difference between telling the truth and telling a lie!!!!! It was such a good lesson!!!!!

I hope so. She sure doesn't get it from the other side of her family. Dae Lynn says that she comes home saying all kinds of bad words after she stays with them. No telling what else goes there as well.
