Sorry, GF's, if you were wanting a recipe but I don't have one this time but I did try something that's really, really good. I picked up some of those Hormel Compleats at the grocery store. They're a single serve container that you warm up in 90 seconds (mine took just a minute). I bought them for Jaci because she always seems to be on the run to somewhere.

Today I decided to warm up a spaghetti one for Karlie for lunch thinking that a "kid would probably like it". I took a taste and it was REALLY good! I'm really picky about spaghetti sauce but this was good! It's on the sweet side but it's still a little spicy. The hamburger and spaghetti noodles were good too. I think that I paid a couple of dollars for it. Karlie loved it too. I also have a chicken alfredo so I'll have to try it soon. This little container only had 280 calories. Really good to have on hand if you have to eat quickly!! I'll be getting some more!!

I ate one of those a few months ago - I don't remember which one (my Alzheimer's!), but I too, thought it was good!

I wish my grandsons would eat these, they sound great! It's a miracle they haven't turned in to chicken yet:rolleyes:

There was a time with my daughter was little, that she would only eat hotdogs - YUK!

Then there was a time when my granddaughter was little that she would only eat chicken nuggets - YUK again! LOL!

I have a cousin that works at Pilgrim's Pride which is a chicken processing plant and she will NEVER eat chicken nuggets.....especially the formed ones (like dinosaurs)!!!! She has seen how they're made! Also, she won't eat hot dogs!!! I don't eat very many any more.

Since I don't like cooking Diana....this sounds right up my alley. I'll have to give it a try. I also love these Stoffer Sandwiches in the frozen foods section. My favorite is the turkey club. 2 minutes in the microwave and I'm set.

I like those. They are $1.00 in Family Dollar, and are great to keep in the house.

If it can't be microwaved, it can't come into my house!

Although, I had a Catskill Women's' Network meeting on Monday. We have to bring a dish to pass, and I found a recipe for fruit pizza. I bought pizza dough,
brushed on melted butter and sprinkled sugar on the dough and baked it for about 15 minutes. The icing is made from low fat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, a drop of vanilla, and orange zest (which I didn't have). After the pizza dough cools down, you spread the cream cheese mixture over it, and then place whatever fruits you want. It looks pretty with strawberries, bilberries, bananas, peaches, etc.

The women liked it. It has a really interesting taste. You can also make it with pastry dough, or a ready made pastry shell.

I've made something like that, Judy, except I used a sugar cookie mix for the crust. We have the cookie mix for $1 at the store. I also have a thing that you can put Cool-whip in and squirt it out and make it decorative, so I put that on top too. Just talking about this is making my mouth water!!!!

I keep a stock of the Hormel Compleats. We actually ate several during the 20 days we had no electricity, after Hurricane Ike. Harold opened them into a skillet and heated on the gas grill. Andrew likes to take them for lunch.

I stopped at WM to pick some up on my way in to work this morning. I needed to re-stock my "hurricane" supplies in case we lose power during the expected ice storm!

I hope you don't lose your electricity. I know that you're weather suppose to get bad but are you going to have an ice storm. I hate those. It's really hard on the trees. Good luck!
