Stupid Stupid Lady!!!!

Last night Ricky and I headed to Lafayette (about 25 minutes away.) On our way there, he was driving, we came up over this slight hill and a lady talking on her cell phone was in our lane. We ended up going in the ditch to keep from hitting head on.

We weren't hurt or anything and drove on to Lafayette. This stupid lady didn't stop or slow down. She needs to put her cell phone down before she kills someone.

There is a video on MSN of teen girls texting. It's graphic, but I made Ricky watch it. We could have been a statistic because of someone being stupid.

Oh my!! I'm so glad that who ever was driving was alert!!! The woman obviously wasn't paying attention to her driving. Thank goodness you were safe!!!

That's SO awful!! I use my blue tooth in the car, but it's distracting to even TALK on the phone, much less look at it!

I wish people would use a bluetooth instead...it seems it would be a little safer. I'm so glad that Ricky was alert and paying attention. He did great!

I know I sounded very harsh with the word "stupid." I've got to admit I've talked on the cell phone too while driving and I'm sure most of you have too.

We need to know ...... REALLY KNOW how dangerous this is. I will use my bluetooth, but no longer will hold the phone. If I have to punch in numbers to make a call....I will find a safe place to pull over. It's just not worth someone's life. I would never be able to live with myself if I killed someone because I needed to make a phone call.
