It was so foggy this morning and there was no school delay. I could only see about a cars length in front of me and had to watch the side of the road to see. There were a few of us late this morning. I just can't believe our superintendent dropped the ball like this. I couldn't see intersections, signs...nothing! It was so thick! I wanted to say something over our radio this morning but I didn't. I was a good girl...for a change...lol

That's really awful, Janet! It's hard enough to drive a car in the fog, much less a bus full of kids! No wonder your blood pressure goes up!!

Sometimes what it's like in town isn't what it's like in the country. Your superintendent probably didn't know that it was as bad as it was. I'm glad that you were able to make it alright. Sounds like it was really bad.

Glad you made it safe and sound Janet. I hate driving in fog, it's very scary.

Our Superintentent is very well thought of. All he had to do was ask the Assist. Princ. she lives down the road from the school. When I got to school, I couldn't even see the buildings.

It's looking really good now though....sun shine, beautiful day.

Janet you are one brave woman.. I would be scared to drive in that fog and let alone with a bus load of kids.. You are an excellent driver.

There were a couple of times that I had a bit of anxiety revving up. It was so bad at times I couldn't remember where I was. Today it was just patchy fog and we had a two hour delay....go figure. I meant to say in my earlier post that our superintendent ISN'T very well though of. He must have gotten a lot of calls yesterday and decided to call a delay this morning.

When it's foggy we are never expected to be there on time, they want us to be careful. My idea is "I'll get there when I get there even if it's noon" because I'm not going to hurry and put the kids or myself in danger.

I try to be Shada. Hopefully we won't have too many foggy days this year and if we do...they make the right call.
