I agree. When I teach my little boys on Wednesday we always start with the flag salute. Sometimes I have trouble with the boys acting up when we're saying it and I always stop and remind them of why we're proud of our flag/country and the people who have and are fighting for it. I'm very proud of our country and our veterans.

Yes yes yes, a great big THANK YOU to all our vets!!!
I have lots of vets in my family - lots in WWII and then several in Korea and Vietnam. My sweet hubby was in Vietnam.
Like Linda, I am so happy to be living in the U.S.A. and so thankful to all our brave veterans!!!

I teach a class of boys on Wednesday night at church called Royal Rangers, actually I have Discovery Rangers. My husband is in charge of the whole group and he needed teachers. Well, he couldn't find one for this one class so I volunteered. Last year the class ran around 20 so he changed it so I only have anywhere from 4 to 11, K through 1st grade. It's been a challenge because of it being boys but I'm having fun. Some nights are really challenging and I come home very fustrated but I'm finding out that the boys really like what we've been doing. Some of the trouble makers in the other classes are being sent back home, which we really hate to do, but it's hard to let them continually disrupt the class, so that's going to help some of my problems. Hopefully, my boys will be scared of being sent home and missing out on some of the fun and will be better for me.
Last week Glen and I took them out and the boys got to ride in the combine and play in a truck full of beans!! They loved it!! It was too bad that I only had 4 boys that night. I had some boys that I was really sorry that they missed out. I think that sometime soon we're going to plan a small hiking and hot dog roast. That should be a lot of fun!!
