Finally ..tree is up!

Yesterday I was able to get the family room cleaned and then put the tree up. I' haven't got it decorated yet, but I hope to sometime over the weekend. I got so tired yesterday that after the room was cleaned and the tree up...I sat down to watch Days Of Our Lives and I fell asleep. I woke up with only 15 minutes to get to school to get the kids. Not good..LOL. I got there just as the kids were coming out of school. I've always worried that I would be late getting there in the afternoon and if finally happened.

I think with everything going on with Mom, working hard to get the family room cleaned, nerves..etc., just got wore out. Anxious to get the route done today so I can come home and maybe take a nap to get ready for the weekend.

Did I just ramble...???

It feels so good to finally have that out of the way doesn't it? Glad you got your tree up Janet! Good thing you weren't a minute later to pick up the kids lol. I certainly hope you get to take that nap today!

It feels good to have it up, doesn't it? We finally just cut ours yesterday...had to wait for the weather to cooperate:rolleyes: Now if my room was just clean like yours instead of strewn with decorations, I'd be a happy camper, lol!!

I don't think that you rambled either. You are so organized whenever you do anything!! My house just goes to pieces!! I have my tree up AND decorated......but it's still out from the wall and nothing else has been done.........and it's been a week!!! I have been so busy and if I haven't been busy I've been tired.

There's nothing wrong with a little nap but you might want to sit an alarm clock.....just in case, for next time. I know that you'd hate to be late to get the kids.

You have been through a lot this week with your Mom. The stress of it all has probably worn you down and is probably just now catching up with you. Hugs!!
