Sorry that I didn't see this sooner. My daughter, Dae Lynn, is a pharmacy tech. It's a lot of knowing the meds and their generics. It's something that you can learn on the job and then test for so I don't think that you need schooling for it. She started out working for our pharmacy then decided to become a pharmist but could never get in the pharmacy school. She was always willing to learn everything about the pharmacy and loved her job. Being a pharmacy tech you are always suppose to be checked by a pharmist. It's a good job!!

You don't need schooling for that if someone is willing to give their time in teaching you. If you do decide to go to school don't waste your time or money in a technical school (private). Take the program in your hometown community college. Trust me it will save you lot's of money.
Good Luck!!!

That sounds like a fun position to me. I hope you find a way to make it happen.
