As most of you know...I lost my Daddy Monday morning.
He said that he and Jesus had it all worked out! He went peacefully around 4 am. I loved him so much! An amazing man! His service was yesterday. He had been in the ministry for forty four years.
He will be sadly missed by many.
My heart is breaking but he is in a better place and not suffering anymore.
Thank you all for your kind words and your prayers over the past several months. I love you girls and I haven't forgotten about my wonderful friends on here!

It's so hard to lose a loved one but when they're hurting and in pain and we know that they're heaven-bound it makes it a little bit easier. You know that your Dad is on the streets of Heaven shouting "Glory to God" and isn't in any pain but witnessing all that Jesus has prepared for him!! Good-byes are always hard but we don't actually say "Good-bye". We say "See ya' later!!" Hugs to you and your family.

Hi Paula

I too have recently lost someone very very close to me - my Aunt, I am trying to get through it as best i can, she too died peacefully which i am thankful for. I also believe she is now in a better place with all of her family, watching us.

Take care.

Paula...I'm so sorry for your pain. In time the pain eases somewhat because the memories we have keep them with us. Cherish them...and hold them close.

Paula, this is such a strange transition time for your family right now. It feels so different. It is hard, but at the same time I know you are grateful he is no longer suffering. It is bittersweet. I know you want him back, but he is no longer suffering and is pain free now. Time will help

I'm sorry Paula.. I don't have any words of wisdom for you. It's just so very hard! Laugh when you want to, cry when you need to, and sleep when you can. :love-hug3:

It is so sad to lose a parent. I still miss my Dad, but have come to realize that I will be with him again in Heaven.

You are in my heart and my prayers.

Paula, I haven't been on much and missed that you had lost your dad. Others have said it all. Just wanted to express my sincerest sympathy and let you know we are here anytime you just need to talk. Many of us have been through the loss of a parent or both of them and know how much they are missed. Hugs to you!!

Thank you everyone! We are all hanging in there. Of course...we have good days and bad days.
Mom made a beautiful wreath day before yesterday. I took her out to the cemetary. It looks so pretty.
It just doesn't seem real! I can't believe that he is gone but.......I am so thankful that he is not suffering anymore.
