I know you use barrels to collect your rainwater from your gutters. I don't have gutters, but I got a 15 gallon water barrel, with a spigot at the bottom. Am I ever going to be able to get enough water pressure to attach the hose to the spigot and spray my plants, or wash the deck off?

She and Annie are still wrestling, but not 100% of the time at least! Max got yelled at, so he stays out of it, unless I think Sophie needs to be put in her place.

She is not a sweet little lady! She growls if she doesn't want to be picked up, or if I am annoying her. I do what I want anyway, but Chins do that. They don't bark, but they let you know when they want to be left alone. She and I will work out our own pack order, with me being the boss.

Their father killed him self last Thursday, yes he had, had some personal problems for the past couple of years. Both the girls have been beside him through everything trying to help him through it, in fact my youngest had spent the better part of the day with him on Thursday and then had to leave him to go get her girls, she felt something wasn't right and even asked him if he was ok, he told her he was fine and he was going to mow the yard, Amy tried calling him shortly after to check on him and got no answer and just thought he was mowing, his wife got home around 4:00 and found him in the barn, it had only been about 1 1/2 hrs since Amy had left him, needless to say Amy is blaming herself, and no matter what anyone says she can't get past that she left him alone, I know it will take time and counseling for her to realize it was not her fault.

My oldest daughter feels that she let her dad down also, she thinks of herself as the fixer for anything that goes on in the family, lord knows she has been my right arm when it comes to mom and feels offended if i try to take some of the load off of her. Needless to say both girls are devastated, death is hard enough to deal with but i think suicide is the worst leaveing everyone with questions of why and if only we had done this.

We were married for 11yrs and after the girls became adults we put our differences aside and got alone great with him and his wife now. I am trying to deal with the girls and then i come home and deal with my own emotions of the pain that the girls are feeling and the anger that he has left the girls to go through this.
We have had the last 2 days to kind of get the girls calmed down somewhat, today is the viewing and tomorrow is the funeral, i talked with the girls this morning and i can feel the emotions building again so it is going to be another rough couple of days for them. I know it will take a long time for them to come to terms with this, it's hard enough for the girls to deal with but there is also the g-kids to deal with....HOW do you make them understand something that you don't even understand yourself.

So if you could please just say a prayer for my girls and g-kids i would apperciate it so much, they have been through so much in their young adult lives.

A FEW MINUTES LATER, A PHONE RANG. THE SECOND YOUNG WOMAN LIFTED HER PALM TO HER EAR.

WHEN SHE FINISHED, SHE EXPLAINED, 'THAT WAS MY MOBILE PHONE. I HAVE A MICROCHIP IN MY HAND.'

THE OLDER WOMAN FELT VERY LOW -TECH. NOT TO BE OUT DONE, SHE DECIDED SHE HAD TO DO SOMETHING JUST AS IMPRESSIVE. SHE STEPPED OUT OF THE SAUNA AND WENT TO THE BATHROOM.

SHE RETURNED WITH A PIECE OF TOILET PAPER HANGING FROM HER REAR END.

THE OTHERS RAISED THEIR EYEBROWS AND STARED AT HER.

THE OLDER WOMAN FINALLY SAID ..... WELL, WILL YOU LOOK AT THAT .... I'M GETTING A

Attachment 6983 This owl belonged to my mother.

Attachment 6984 This also belonged to Mom. It was in pretty bad shape and was a blue color. I painted it a gray and I love it.

After the show was over I turned off the TV and then got up to get me a drink of water and then go to the restroom. Before I went to sleep I gave FB a last check and decided to look at some pictures of Mom I have on my iPad. Approx. 15 minutes passed during... Last night I was watching TV in bed. After the show was over I turned off the TV and then got up to get me a drink of water and then go to the restroom. Before I went to sleep I gave FB a last check and decided to look at some pictures of Mom I have on my iPad. Approx. 15 minutes passed during which I checked out FB and the pictures.

I came across one picture of Mom sitting in her new car and it just made me smile. The expression on her face told how thrilled she was. I said to myself "you sure loved that car didn't you Mom" and then the TV turned itself on. It didn't startle me, I just gave Mom a thumbs up and it just made me feel so good.

Normally something like that would scare me a bit, but thinking it could possibly be Mom, it didn't bother me at all. I knew Mom wouldn't want to scare me so I felt comfortable. It was so surreal, ya know?

I had something similar happen when Dad passed only he came in a dream that was so real, that when I woke up it was like losing him all over again.

I think those kinds of dreams are God's way of letting us visit with them. I do have to admit something, but I'll start from the beginning.

When the Tom cat first came around we were not thrilled. He was huge and would not leave Kitty alone. She wanted nothing to do with him. The cat somehow ended up in the shed so the guys put a live trap in there with some cat food and the next day he was caught. They took the cat approximately 5 miles north over some water, even though we know cats swim, we've heard that if you take them over water, they will not return. Anyway...guess who showed up a week later? Yup...the Tom cat.

Kitty was still not wanting him close to her. I was in the house and heard a blood curdling scream. It was Kitty and this Tom cat had her down and biting on her head and neck. Scared me to death and I sure didn't want anything to happen to Kitty so I came in and got my gun.

When I went back out, I saw Kitty run around the garage with the Tom chasing her so I ran around there too. She had jumped up on the fence to get into where the dogs were and the Tom was just about to jump when I yelled, "NO, DON'T YOU MOVE, STAY AWAY FROM HER" and this Tom turned and looked at me with killer eyes....I swear. He took a couple of steps toward me growling and well, I pulled the trigger. I saw exactly where I hit it, but he took off running, and we haven't seen him since.

I have been dealing with the guilt for shooting that cat, but he was hurting Kitty and that scream is something I will never forget. I have never heard a cat scream before.

Anyway, she looks like she's getting a bit of a belly on her. I got online to see what cat pregnancies were all about and IF she is pregnant, she's due some time the first or second week of May. She's had all her shots now, so if that Tom had anything hopefully he didn't pass it on to her. I did check all over her head and neck and didn't find any blood.

Now you all know I'm not a cat person, but I just love Kitty. We don't really need any more animals here, but Ricky and I are sort of wishing she is pregnant. :p I know...dumb, but we would find them really good homes, most of them anyway...lol.
