She's great! She has such a beautiful voice. Does she want to sing? American Idol, here she comes!

Song for Wednesday, June 4th, 2008. We have never lived this day before, and we will never live it again. Live it with joy!
|
Terri your daughter has a beautiful voice, and I will give her all the credit in the world to stand up there and sing it accapella.. BRAVO!!!! She did wonderful.
Judy I love John Lennons music Imagine is one of my favorites.. TY |

Yes, she wants to do Musical Theater. She is actually in the performing arts high school and loves every minute of it. She's been taking voice lessons for a little less than a year and that video was only her second time singing in public. (hense the mistakes!) I'm proud of her, she is very passionate about theater and if she doesn't make it it won't be for lack of trying! |
Wow Teri! She was amazing!!! When she's famous, I'll get to tell people that I know her. :)
|
I've heard this song before, but I saw the video today for the first time and I thought it was great! It really compliments the song well I think and I just LOVED the ending. Very cute and clever.
|
I love that song, but the video is great! I really thought they would meet drawing on the sign.

OMG Gina - I'm sitting here with my eyes closed remembering the "good old days." Life was so sweet. I was head over heels in love with Gary, didn't have one complete thought in my head, and lived completely in the moment.
I saw Jay and the Americans at a small club somewhere. I honestly had no idea that he had such a fantastic voice! They were cute, which was where that thought process ended. Angie, you better post some more new songs or this is going to become an oldies but goodies thread. I like new stuff anyway. Here's one for Diana |
Thanks Judy, but I'm more of an "American Pie" girl!!! I also really liked the song that Angie had on here and I loved the video that was with it! Here's a song by the same singer that I like, Judy.
|
That is beautiful Diana. You have to post more so we really get to know your musical tastes.
Here's one to end the day withhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEkh_KxKao0&feature=related |
I must be the odd ball...LOL..I don't have any real favorites. I love all country old and new and 50's, 60's, and 70's, rock. But I love most all music EXCEPT..I'm not really liking the rap that well or the really hard rock that sings about killing and drugs and all.
I'm just really enjoying the videos you all have posted. |

Here's Judy's video again for everyone. She ran some words together and it didn't come up like it should have. |
Here's what I've been listening to lately. These cd's are what are in my player.
This family came to our church and sang and I bought one of their cd's from them. They are wonderful and their harmony is too. They've only been singing together for a couple of years. This is a very poor quality video of them but I hope that you can hear how wonderful their voices are. The other cd that I have in my player is Christopher Cross. I always loved his music back when he was popular so I finally broke down and got a cd of his best songs. |
I wouldn't mind sailing right now Diana! That is a beautiful song. The other group is hard to hear, but some of their beautiful voices come through.
Here's one for today: |
|
Good songs for today Judy..... I remember when John Travolta and Olivia Newton made that movie.. God how times fly by.... I was single and having fun.. Thanks for the memories... :)
|
|
Whitney Houston was a shining star in those days. What a voice she had!
Sad, how she ended up. But, you never know....she could sing again. Thanks Gina. This is one of my favs. I think Paul Simon is brilliant, and Art Garfunkel's voice is just beautiful. They harmonized better than anyone else I've ever heard. (I was across the street when this concert took place, on a date. Got to watch it on TV though). |

This song brings back a lot of great memories for me. Back at camp in 2003 Bren and I had many of our "firsts" and also I had one of the best summers of my life, but it was one of the rainiest summers I ever remember having. My friends and I at camp would burst out with the chorus of this song any time it started raining. It was great. Brendon and I still sing it in the car sometimes when it rains. :)
I can't stop the rain From fallin down on you again I can't stop the rain But I will hold you till it goes away |

These have all been so wonderful, but Gina...the one you posted was icing on the cake.
