My family went through some bad times about 5 years ago and all of my mom's hair fell out because of the stress! She was put on anti-depressants and things really cleared up for her! Just remember that anti-depressants, including Lexapro, take several weeks to work. So, even though you don't feel the effects immediately, stay on them for a couple of weeks.

Sorry I don't know anything about hormones and hormone replacement therapy. All I know is my mom and grandmother use some sort of patch. But they've also had hyterectomies. So I dunno. I'm really just babling here..........

Hope you feel better really soon, girl! (((((hugs)))) to you!

girl you can keep on babling:D :D :D I do listen to you ....I found iron pills and am trying the Lexapro again 1/2 strength - I can't stand the side effects but at this point I'm going to try ANYTHING rather than go see another doctor & I do take vitamins everyday.

thanks for responding - it was a help to me.

I hope what you're trying works for you Villette. Just remember to take them long enough to see. Sometime the side effects go away after a few more weeks. Just feel better soon, okay?:)

The side effects of the Lexapro will subside. If one of the side effects you are experiencing is dry mouth, try taking it at night. My hubby takes Lexapro and he takes his at night to avoid the side effects.

Thinking about you and hoping you feel better soon, Villette.

Vilette.. I don't have much to contribute with the medication, but I do want to wish you well wishes. Do as the girls said and hopefully you will be feeling better soon.. Merry Christmas :)
