I don't understand why she's had so many miscarriages. She had one when she was first married and then she had two beautiful daughters. The oldest is 10 (born on my birthday!) and the youngest is 7. They would love to have a little boy to round out their family. In the past 2 or 3 years she's had a couple more miscarriages. She gets to about 10 weeks or so and that's when her trouble starts. The last one she hemmoraged so badly that they put her in the hospital. I was really worried about her then.

She's a wonderful mother and spends a lot of time doing things with her girls and another little one would be so very welcome. I haven't talked to her today but please keep her in your prayers in the days ahead because the bleeding could start again after a few days. I'm really claiming in my prayers that she and the baby will both be healthy. Thanks guys for your support and prayers.

Doctors could never give me an answer as to why it happened either. Even Angie doesn't know this but I've had 5 miscarriages altogether (all at around 8-10 weeks) & my 4 beautiful children. I think other than the loss not knowing why or how to keep it from happen again & the fear each time of will it happen this time are the worst. It's so much to go through. Her resting is the best thing she can do right now & try to read or something she enjoys to try to keep her mind off of the fear.

Diana, I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you and your daughter today. I hope everything is going well.

Haven't seen any updates recently, I'm praying everything is alright .

Oh wow, I hope everything is ok. Miscarriages are so hard...I've seen with a few friends in the past year or so go through them and it's so emotional and physically wrenching. I will pray everything goes smoothly this time! I can imagine how it would be hard for you - you are such a caring mom. I hope my Mom will be just as supportive and by my side when I get pregnant (one day, not soon) as you are to your daughter!

Thanks for asking. I appreciate your concern. I had a talk with my daughter a couple of days ago and she said that she was still spotting off and on. I've been praying so hard for her and I felt that the Lord really told me that she was going to have this baby so I'm really hanging on to that, but with her still spotting it's getting harder to believe. She's been pretty depressed but seems to be a little happier than she was.

She had a doctor's appointment last Friday and was hoping to hear a heartbeat, but they didn't. The doctor seemed to think that she just wasn't far enough along to hear it and that's what I think too. They're in-between insurances so she wouldn't let the doctor do a sonogram because of the expense. She's still having morning sickness, except it's in the evening, so that's a good sign that her hormones are still changing. The signs are still there that she's pregnant but the spotting is still a worry. I'd really appreciate your prayers for her and the baby. Thanks for checking on her.

I'm so glad that everything is okay for now!! I've been so worried for her. I'll be praying that the rest of her pregnancy goes smoothly. *hugs*

I asked her yesterday how things were going and she said that she's not spotting any more. As I said before (Didn't I?), I really felt that God told me that we WILL have a baby! He's spoken to me just a few times and I KNOW that he spoke to me again.

I'm so glad that things are going better. Our thoughts continue to be with you & your family.

This is the first time i have read this thread.....how is she doing? I know the pain that a miscarriage causes and I am so sorry she has had to go through it in the past. I pray this will work out fine....

I had a friend that spotted for the first 4 months of her pregnancy but she ended up having a perfectly healthy full term baby. I pray this is the same and that it will stop.

Gina 04-16-2007 05:15 AM

Awww Diana I am so happy that all is going well, and its wonderful that you have such a strong faith in God. He will not let you down.

Taurus Babe 04-16-2007 09:50 AM

Oh yeah! I'm so glad to hear that all is well right now. Poor thing, it must be so scary especially since she's been through this before. Please keep us up-to-date on her and babies health. AND how are you holding up there?

DianaB 04-16-2007 11:41 AM

My daughter is 14 weeks now and still doing fine. The last I talked to her the spotting had stopped and she's having cravings for odd things and still has a little bit of morning sickness. At every sign that her pregnancy is devoloping I'm thrilled. She was depressed for a while with thinking that she was going to miscarry but I can see that starting to fade. She's still reserved about the pregnancy, but I'm praying that soon all of that will pass and she'll be able to look forward to planning for this baby. God is so good!
