Glad she was feeling a bit better yesterday, how is she today Diana?

Janet 04-26-2007 04:53 AM

Diana, how is your daughter doing? I'm sure she'll be fine physically, but I pray after all the miscarriages she's had to endure, that she'll be fine emotionally. Please tell her again, she's in my prayers.

My husband talked to her this morning and she's really sore all over. She thought that it had to do with some of the medicine that she was given. The doctor hadn't seen her when my husband talked to her, but she's wanting to go home today. I can't believe that a person can almost die and go home the next day!

Amy had said she's not going to get pregnant again and I agree. My nerves cannot take what I've seen and gone through again. I was so scared. At one point I grabbed the phone and called my Mom and our Pastor and told them to pray, even though it was 2:30 am. She was so pale and I didn't know what else to do.

Amy's house and my house are on the same property, separated by a pond and lots of trees. After the ambulance left I came home to change clothes and go to the hospital and the ambulance turned around and followed me home! They ended up out in the meadow almost stuck in the mud!! It was funny except for the fact that my daughter was in there. The male EMT finally took over the driver's seat and they slipped and slided out of the mud and finally flew to town. My daughter says that she never expected to "go muddin' in an ambulance"! Now it's funny, then it was NOT!

I am so sorry to here about your daugther. I will keep her in my prayers. Have you ever heard of Gary smally? In one of his series he talks about how tramatic events being the things that bring family's together later. He says its never funny when you go through them, but its silly things that you remember.

I do not mean to minimize the terrible loss of the baby and the terrible scare with your daughter. The ambulance driver statement is what I am refering to.

I understand what you're saying. I was really surprised that she was already laughing about it. However she does have a really good sense of humor!

I've had her two girls while she's been in the hospital and the first morning found us chasing after the school bus after we had missed it! We eventually caught up with it! I'm sure that the girls will make sure that Mama hears about that one!! My daughter had to be in town early and wasn't there to remind us of what time we needed to be at the end of our lane.

It would be funny to be a bird in a tree watching that!

Yeah, we pulled down to the end of the lane and one of my granddaughters says "There's the bus and we missed it!" The other says "No we didn't" but when I looked (it was through the trees and about a quarter of a mile away), sure enough it was about to go out of sight!! So off we went, racing as fast as the dirt road would let us!!! We caught up with the bus at my son's house and parked right in front of it so it couldn't get out of the driveway without the girls. I'm sure that the bus driver (who is a friend) was getting a good laugh!!!

I am so sorry for your loss.. We are sending prayers here also. I know what you went thru.. my daughter in law miscarraied 3 times also. Her last preganancy she carried for 6 months then she started to bleed. She almost died. She started to hemmorage and they had to fly her to Springfield Illinois to the Preemie hospital. She finally got okay and the baby only weighed 1lb 12 oz. Now this was 3 years ago.. My granddaughter is great. she is still tiny but doing fine. So I know what you are going thru. It takes time and prayers. She can't have any more children either. SO were praying for you. Libby my Maltese is sending prayers also.!

Passionfruition 04-26-2007 07:15 PM

Oh, no, I'm so sorry. I will be praying!

Diana, I am so sorry to hear this has happened. Sending prayers and hugs out to you and your family.

Janet 04-27-2007 05:19 AM

I'm so glad Diana that your daughter still has her sense of humor. What else can she do...she has other children who need her. She must be a very strong young woman. We need more like her in this world. There is always adoption...so many children need a parent like her.

DianaB 04-27-2007 06:41 AM

She got to come home last night after they gave her another unit of blood (she had 3 units in all). I took some supper over to her and she was telling me that when the doctor came in and talked to her that he told her that she probably lost 3-4 pints of blood (your body has 6 quarts of blood) and that he'd never seen anyone bleed like she was bleeding. I know how lousy I feel when I donate just 1 pint of blood to the donor bank and I can't image how bad she felt losing that much. I know that she looked really pale and was very weak. I know that everyone's prayers were heard by God and that's why she's doing so well. Your prayers are really appreciated.

Glad shes at home Diana, how is she holding up?

Janet 04-27-2007 03:56 PM

So happy that she's home Diana. It will take her some time to heal physically and emotionally. I'll keep her on my prayer list to have a speedy recovery.

Forgivenmom5 04-27-2007 06:22 PM

So glad she's home Diana. Now maybe she can heal in every way. She has to be physically weak and emotionally drained.
