In my whole life.. there has been only one nurse who I thought no longer cared about her work. The rest have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Don't know what we would ever do without their encouragement, compassion, and well, their kind hearts. :)

Hi there! I'm a nurse, have been for the past 32 years. I've worked ICU/CCU, recovery room, on a med/surg floor, and in occupational health. For the past 20+ years, I've been a professor of nursing. I no longer teach the undergrad students, because I no longer practice in the hospital and would be totally incompetent taking them to clinicals. I have a practice in nursing research - with family caregivers and persons with dementia. So, I teach master's and doctoral students.

I absolutely love nursing, I can't imagine doing anything else!!!
