When my kids were about 2 and 4, my Dad had dropped off some paint (when we weren't home) for my older daughter, who was 16, to use on her tack box for the county 4H horse show. We had no idea it was sitting outside the house. We lived out in the country away from everyone and everything, so the kids did get to play in the yard without too much worry. I could be in the house and hear them right outside the window so often let them play while I was inside.
They found that darn can of paint and painted the wheel wells of my silver car lime green! I about messed myself when I saw it!
It's a real sinking feeling when you find a mess like that! NOW, 16 years later, we're able to laugh about it, but at the time I could only dread hubby coming home that night. LOL
