I've been tempted to try WW. Since I broke the foot, my doc doesn't want me to do anything "impact". She told me I could do WW, but I DO NOT want to go to meetings! "With the price of gas" (how many times have you heard that lately) it would cost extra to go to meetings. I'm not sure I have the will to do the online WW thing. I NEED to do something.

Yesterday I had a 21st birthday party for my daughter. I had about 28 adults and 10 kids.. crazy I know.. I had it indoors for it rained a little yesterday then it cleared up Thank God the kids went out to play. All in all it was a good day, today I am relaxing didn't go to work my allergies are acting up. So I gave myself the day off.. lol

Janet I am happy you sold the puppy to a good family. Everyone seems to have had a productive day..

Feel better Gina, and congratulations on your daughter's 21st birthday. That's a big one!

I've been online all day looking for cable service, drugstores and supermarkets near Roxbury, where I'm moving. I'm having fun, but I feel sorry for the dogs. They sleep when I'm online. Wait - why should I feel guilty? They could play with each other!

Janet, don't you dare! You've come such a long way. I'm over it too though. I'm so bored with all the same meals. We will persevere!

I have to go look up the dimensions of the rooms in my new house (did I say that?). I want to get laminate for the floors, but I don't want to spend $10,000 on it.

Any advice on flooring?

Sandy, I love WW's. I've lost 28.4 lbs so far, but I gained 2.4 and lost it again. I really need to stay on the program and go to the meetings. It's a proven fact that more people stay with the program and lose more if they attend the meetings. Our meetings are so much fun and I laugh all the time.....but, I would like to have internet on my phone even though I don't really need it...LOL.

I've heard everyone just rave about Pergo flooring. I want to check it out, so I don't know if it's expensive or not. I want laminate too and have for quite some time.

But Judy, I don't want to quit WW, I just want to quit spending the $40 every month. Even though I love the meetings, things are just getting too expensive. I'll just have to do some serious soul searching and figure out what I should do.

I'm so happy you're all excited about your new place. I can feel your excitement and it makes me excited too!

Thanks Gina. I really couldn't have picked out a better home for her. Yet, I'm having the heartstrings being pulled. I got up this morning and realized she wasn't here and my heart ached a bit. I miss her already. She was my favorite.

Janet, the thing about texting is that you can communicate what you need to without committing to a conversation. Text conversations are short, concise, to the point. You can text when you are places where you cannot talk. Example: My daughters will text me while they are in class to let me know how they did on a big exam.

Texting is another thing that I like about the i-Phone. A keyboard pops up on the touch screen so I don't have to do all the typing from a number pad on a cell phone, and it keeps the conversation in little bubbles on the screen and you can scroll up and down to see the conversation history. Love it!!!

Gina, hope your party went well!!!! I'm sure it was really nice if you had a lot to do with it!! Hope you've had a relaxing day!!

Judy, I ask hubby about laminate flooring. He does not recommend Pergo. He said that there are some new laminates out that look more like wood. The surface is not as shiny as Pergo and is more of a matt finish. These new laminates hold up better and are easier to clean. It's not a hard to install yourself if you have the desire to do so. Hubby does not recommend installing it in the kitchen because it does not hold up well in areas where it gets wet a lot.

BTW, WW works well, or at least it did for me. I think part of the reason is that if I'm paying for it, I'm going to make it work. :p I need to start going again or working out or something. When I was doing WW, I was working out and going to the meetings and counting points, and being strict with myself. Just hard to get back in the groove.

Marilyn, my daughter's party went really well. I had a house full it rained during the day but at night it cleared up. So some of the kids went outside to play. In all they behaved. The last of my company left at midnight..yep my family always stay until the end. lol

This morning I took the day off I was tired and my ears are bothering me sort of like stuffed I guess it's allergies. In all it was a relaxing day. Thanks for asking...

First - I love texting. It's fun and you can send a picture along. I have to make sure I'm texting people who know how to do it though.

Second - WW is the best, but you do have to work yourself up to start. I'm at the point where I could stop going (I don't stay for the meetings - I need to be accountable for my weight). As I'm typing this though, I realize I need to lose about 3 more pounds before I feel it's enough.

Third - Marilyn - could you ask dh which brands he might recommend?

Also have some one coming to see the puppy, should be here about any time. Need to sew some new belly bands for Joey and a friend wants some too for her boys, just can't get motivated to do it yet. Have all the windows open in the house, wind blowing something fierce, but feels great.

Other than what I've mentioned, I may check some prices of things online. Still want a GPS...even more now than I did...LOL. And even though I love LOVE my camera, I would like another small slim one to carry with me at all times....ya just never know when ya need one..LOL.

So Janet, do you still have 3 puppies or have you sold some? I often think about how precious your adult dogs are. There colors are beautiful. I don't think my 2 are ever going to get there. They still have a lot of black on them and they came from 2 different breeders. My groomer use to breed Yorkies and she doesn't think they will change either. They do have blonde on their legs and Lucy is quite blonde on her head with a little silver. Monkey is also blonde on his legs but only has a little on his head. The rest of his head is silver with a little black.

I just saw an I phone, Marilyn, yesterday and I wish I could have one. They are awesome! We have bad service in our area- can't use cell in the house- so it's out of the question. It's one of the bad things about living in the boonies.

Thank you so much for the compliment. You really need to post some pictures of your beauties too. I love seeing everyone's doggies.
