I hope the job hunt goes well.

I love the extra light at night. It means summer to me. I do think the whole concept is silly though. I believe it was started so that school children would not have to walk to school on dark mornings in winter. I remember Nixon involved in that.

I have also been sleeping about 12 to 15 hours since the clock was changed!
I'm so glad I know why now. I was really beginning to get worried!

The rate its going here, i'll be off of work this summer and i'm going to enjoy it with Micah. i'm sucking up my unemployement.. we went from 20 guys here, there laying off more today we will be down to 3 guys and 2 mechanics, only a matter of time before we shut down, so i been looking everyday.. something will come up, but i'm taking my time..
But for Micah he will adjust, hopefully soon, he's killing me at night, 9pm was my bedtime too :(

I hate the time change in the spring. It's so hard to lose an hour especially when it's sleep!! I remember the days when I had little kids that had to get used to a new schedule. I hated it too, Haley!!

I DO like having the sunlight longer in the evening. Personally, I wish that they'd just put us on DST and just leave it that way!!!

Me too Diana, i think its harder on me than Micah, i need that extra hour... but i can't wait till it warms up.. i'll be outside all the time with Micah, with his Birthday money were going to get him a swingset for the yard.

Here's an article about the history of daylight savings time. It began as an energy saving thing.

i'm still not use to it, i been late for work the last two days, i think i'm just drained i have no energy... Micah's still going to bed around 10pm, the kid is killing me. i can't seem to get him back to his 9pm time, i got 3 days this weekend to work on him so we will see what happens, maybe i can get caught up on my sleep this weekend also...

Do you have shades you can pull down so it will be darker in your house until he can get used to it? Maybe he just needs it to be a little darker for a little while.

Yes my bedroom is very dark, the problem is with Micah he's starting to take a later nap, so he has all this energy for Mom when i pick him up... so hopefully the weather will get warmer soon and i can take his butt outside and burn off some of that extra energy... :p
