This is a YUMMY dish!!!
TEX-MEX PULLED PORK Sauce 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1 c. bottled barbecue sauce 1 med. onion, sliced thin 2 cans 4.5 oz each diced green chilies 1/4 cup of chili powde (I know it seems like alot but trust me, it's not) 1 tsp. each ground cumin and dried oregano 1/4 tsp. ground cinnomon 1 2 1/2 lb well trimmed boneless pork loin roast 1/2 cup chopped cilantro mix sauce ingr's in a 3 QT or larger slow-cooker. Add pork, then spoon sauce over pork just to cover. Cover and cook on high 3 1/2 hrs or on low 8-10 hrs or until pork is fork tender. Remove pork to a cutting board and pull meat into shreds. Pour sauce into serving bowl, stir in cilantro and shredded pork. Terrific on buns, taco shells or rolled into flour tortillas Optional - add shredded cheddar or Monterey jack cheeses, lettuce, tomatoe, sour cream, and black olives. Enjoy |
