Mom tried to come and tell you all herself, but sitting upright put a lot of pressure on her stitches so she couldn't. We are both very excited though!

Yes, it also means that she will most likely not need any more chemo! Her oncologist makes the final decision but the surgeon says he sees no reason to do more. This REALLY made Mom happy. :)

I heard the news at lunch while working today. I starting crying and everyone thought it was something bad. It took me a minute to get anything out. Then, I got out "My mom got here pathology report." I didn't get any further before a couple of people were hugging me and appologizing. LOL two even cried with me when I finally told them it was good news. Thank you to all of you here who have stood by my mom's side through all of this. I think each of you helped her to find the strength to keep fighting when she wasn't sure she could. I love you all.

Mom had the drainage tubes taken out today. She says it is much more comfortable and easier to do things without them. Her surgeon says everything looks good. She goes back to her oncologist on the 7th and we will find out how long she will be on radiation. She even got to come out to my brother's birthday party today. It was great to see her smile. :D

Just wanted to let everyone know I am doing much better!!!! I can move around better. I am still sore and lack energy but that will take time. Won't be long till I can get back here on a regular basis. Thank you ladies so much for all your thoughts and prayers. God was truly listening and has blessed me with good news, a wonderful family and great friends. I appreciate and love you all.
