I can't believe it - I'm not going to get to come to Kansas! I am sooo disappointed!!!

My niece is coming to Austin for a wedding that VERY weekend. She just finalized her plans, so I just found out. Since she is coming, so is my sister-in-law (her mom), my sister, and my other niece and her family. It will be lots of fun - a sort of mini-family reunion that weekend. I love for them to come down - just NOT that particular weekend.

Ah well, next time! :(

Well you all need to keep your fingers crossed for me too. The puppies are 8 weeks old...they are definitely ready to go to new homes by 10 weeks. I need some of the puppy money to come and I haven't had any calls yet.

Also...our renter just lost his job. If we can't find someone else to rent, (or if he can't find another job) then the only thing we can do is refinance which we do not want to do. Everything will be paid off in 2 years. We can't afford to make both payments so pray we find someone else to rent.

Sometimes life just sucks and makes me wonder if it's even worth it. I know I sound like I'm having a pity party but for crying out loud....all I want is to be able to visit a friend and come hell or high water....I'm going to try my hardest.

I'm so sorry Janet! I was thinking that it might not be a good time for Diana since she'll probably be working by then. Maybe we should just try it again sometime:o

Oh Gayle and Janet.....I'm so disappointed!!! I've been so excited!!! Gayle would it help if we moved it up or back a week? Or September is fine with me too. I know that the date we had picked out was iffy for Marilyn.

Betsi, you and your husband are still more than welcome to stay at our home going up and back......and spending a few days!!!

Moving back a week wouldn't help me either, because my school would be started by then and the first week of school is just crazy. Plus, it wouldn't work out for Betsi if we moved it.

We are going to get together, it will happen!

It would probably be better if we changed it to a different time completely. Thank you for the offer to come by Diana, but since we'll have the puppy, we should probably just come straight home with him. We'll get together sometime soon, and we won't let anything get in our way!!

Would everyone still be willing to go on a cruise? Scott was offered a project with a lot of overtime and I could definitely work some overtime and I'm sure we could work up enough time off to get away somewhere warm this winter without jeopardizing our trip to Europe next year...

Moving it would be fine with me. I was just checking in before checking airline ticket prices. The timing was stretching the schedule a bit, but if everyone else was going to be there, I was determined to make it. Late September looks good. At least for now.

I would love to go on a cruise or meet anywhere!!!! Everyone's still welcome to come here but I'm flexible on whatever we decide!!! I've told Glen that if the "girls" ever have a meet up.....consider me gone!!!!!
