Traci you brought tears to my eyes also. You and your sister and I am sure the other siblings are wonderful children. Your mom is lucky to have you guys and vice versa.. Continue supporting your mom the way you have , your mom will be back to herself in no time. She has a wonderful family, friends and a devoted community here at 4wt praying for her... She is going to be back to normal soon.

Debbie, I have a piece of paper that I hang in my bathroom by the mirror. It has the names of people that I pray :hands: for on a daily basis and you are on that list.

I know it can get really tough sometimes...but you are such a strong woman and we all know it by the way your daughters write about you. Please know we are here when you need us. You're in our thoughts and prayers every day.

I just wanted you to know. Love ya!!!

I keep getting a message that mom's page "is not found". Can someone else try and see if it is just me please?

Chandra Amaya 02-06-2008 03:04 PM

Got it. Sorry to have wasted the post.

Janet 02-06-2008 04:41 PM

WOW, Debbie has 16 candles lit. Hope you're feeling better Debbie.

I have always known you were a strong woman, but mom this is above and beyond strong. Just because you have a bad day, week or even month It does not mean you are not a strong person. You have been such a role model for all of your kids especially us girls. You have raised five children alone, you beat the system that wants to hold you down and went to college (with kids), took classes to get a job and found a great one. You have always put us first and you last. Well, it's our turn mom. It doesn't make you weak to need us. It makes us happy to be able to do something to help. Please if we can do anything, even if it is the smallest little thing, it helps us to feel like we are needed. So let us know so we can have the joy of helping.
I love you
Traci

Thank you so much Traci... You know I hate not being able to do things I need to. You and John and Angela and Brendon have been fantastic. I know no matter what I have done wrong in my life-I have raised some great kids. That is more of a credit to you guys than to me--but I am really proud of all of you.

Thanks so much Janet. I am doing better. I am not almost passing out when I get up now. I am still really tired but going to part time at work is helping. I have a treatment next week so just keep praying that I won't get that weak this time.

Debbie, I've been keeping you in my prayers a lot lately. It really helps when we know how you're doing.

Debbie, here is something that was mentioned in our church magazine. I thought that you might enjoy reading it. Love ya'--Diana

Thanks so much Diana. I hear a lot of negative things so it is very good to hear the positive. I have a lot of prayers in many different places and I trust that God is going to direct this surgery and the cancer will be gone. Sometimes the negative thoughts creep in but you ladies and my kids push them away.

DianaB 02-14-2008 07:04 AM

Come on girls. There's only a couple of candles lit!!!!

Janet 02-14-2008 07:06 AM

I try to check it every couple days to keep one lit. You're always in my prayers Debbie.

judy 02-14-2008 04:57 PM

Thanks Diana and Janet. I just lit a candle for our dear Debbie.

Forgivenmom5 02-16-2008 06:16 AM

Thanks for the candles and prayers. They help so much. I had chemo Thursday and felt pretty tired last night but so far today I feel better. I have bloodwork every week now to check levels after the problems with the last chemo. Only one more on March 5th and then a 4-6 week break before surgery. After that treatments will depend on lab results. Probably radiation but I hope chemo is over--we'll see--but at least it is a break from it. God is in control!

judy 02-17-2008 01:14 PM

And God always loves you.
