We're Waiting on News About Gidget!!!!
 

Janet, we're waiting to hear how Gidget and the puppies are doing!!!! You haven't been on yet today so I'm guessing that you're very busy with new little puppies. I can't wait for pictures!!!!!

It's 7:53 PM Sunday and still no puppies. Today is her first due date. She is just so big and I know she has to be a bit miserable. I was hoping she'd have them before I had to go back to bus driving on Tuesday. We have Monday off because of a snow day. We didn't use it so they gave us a day off.

You can bet I will let you know just as soon as she has them....LOL I just wish she'd hurry just a bit.

I thought that since you hadn't been on that maybe you were busy with puppies!!! It will be good that you can be off tomorrow and be with her. We don't have school tomorrow for the same reason as you!!! Jaci's planning on ice skating if the pond is froze enough.

Keep us posted. Hope you are home when the moment arrives!!!

Here it is at 7:35 AM Monday. She still hasn't had a temp drop yet. Well she had a little one from 99.6 to 99.4. She usually eats a big breakfast, but so far she hasn't eaten anything. Just sleeping. All I can do it wait. She is such a stinker you wait.....she'll go into labor like she did last time from 11 PM till 7 AM and I'll have to get up and drive the bus....LOL.

Awww, she has a little round belly!!!! Janet, hold Gidget up to the computer screen so she can read this.........Gidget Baby, you need to start walking around and get those babies coming.....today!!!!!! Your Mama has to go back to work tomorrow and can't be home with you all day so you better get busy! This is from your Auntie Diana. Be a good girl and run on now and get those contractions started. Love ya' Gidget!!!

Janet, what are you going to do if she hasn't had them by bus time tomorrow??:eek:

The only thing I can do....drive the bus. Now if she's in actual labor, I'll have to find some one to sub for me, but we don't have very many subs at all. My husband could probably stay just so she wouldn't be alone (without a human), but he wouldn't be any help at all. He panics over the smallest thing and would make her a nervous wreck. I don't have anyone else..all friends and family work.

I usually take her temp at 6:30 AM and 8:30 PM everyday. This morning it was 99.4 degrees. She was acting a little clingy this afternoon so I took her temp at 2:00 and it was 100.4 degrees. This could be her spike before the temp drop. I'll know this evening. If that is the case, I will start calling for a sub later tonight.

LOL...I knew she'd do this...LOL. She just couldn't make life easy for me the little booger. That's okay though...I still love her.

Bless her heart, hope everything goes well for her, and that she has strong healthy babies.

No drop in temp yet...the little stinker!!! She's not eating very much at all, but she is still eating. I usually breed 3 times..10th day, 11th and 13th. Tomorrow (23rd) will be her last due date. I would much rather her keep them in a little bit longer than have them too early to survive. If she doesn't show more signs of delivery by Thursday, I will call the Vet for his advice. He's wonderful and I trust him completely. I sure am anxious to see these little babies.

So we're still waiting. :o I thought that when I came on this morning that there would at least be news that she was in labor. Come on, Gidget. Let's get this ball rolling!!!!

Babies... whether human or canine just never want to come when it's convenient do they? lol
I hope all is well and she delivers soon.
