Well, I can't really claim to be new here, but haven't been on for months and months, so it feels like a brand new place!

Just wanted to say hi!

Glad you're back Jlynn. There has been so much growth with this site and we even have a chat room now. Not sure where all the regulars are this evening. I do hope you can post on some of the threads and come around more often. We always need more thoughts, ideas and well, just something else to talk about once in a while.

Thanks for the welcome Janet! Glad to see this little site is doing so well! I remember you from the early days, seems to me you are a great supporter of this site!

Thanks Jlynn, some of the others are going to post the interiors of their homes too. We are trying to find some other decorating ideas...lol Did you check out the pictures of the house Marilyn posted? So pretty.

Yes, I'm still here...LOL I love this site and the ladies here are so wonderful. I would just hate not being able to visit with everyone. When one hurts, we all are hurting and when one celebrates...we all celebrate.

It does seem like a really nice little community. With summer right around the corner perhaps I can spend more time getting to know everyone here.

Really cute!! We all had so many different avatars since the beginning, but then we all got close and decided we wanted to see who we were talking with. Most of that are on all the time have used our pictures as an avatar. I only will show from the neck up...it's not the greatest either, but man the old body sucks...LOL

I'm just so glad you're all here again. I know when YT gets back up we all will be checking it out, just please come back will you? We really have a great time here.

I will. I'll be honest, I lost interest in the beginning when it seemed like you had to wait forever for someone to answer a thread. I've gotten used to the rapid fire response of YT...and yes, I am an addict:rolleyes:

Hello, ladies & great to see you back. I'm right with Janet wanting you to be here more often. We need a little help keeping things going from time to time.

I'm still on YT (mhorst), but was never too active there. I love:1luvu: our yorkies, but can only talk about house training, breeding size and such so long.

There are some ladies here now who are not on YT and don't even have dogs, believe it or not, it's a growing community. Please come back regularly!!

BTW, I don't like my avatar pic, but it's about the best that I have, and we did agree to try to use our pic so I'm trying to support the effort.

My hair is shorter now, so I really do need to update. ;)

It was strange for a while to have my pic on there, but you get used to it.

LOL, I manage to find plenty of opportunity to talk about non-yorkie related things on yt;) , here's my question...

I know this forum is not about our animals, but do they EVER come up???

We talk about our animals quite a bit. Every now an then a yorkie thread pops up, and you'd think you were on YT. Janet posts pics of her babies.

Someone on here is also on maltesetalk.

I post about my Zoe (3 lb, 1.5 year old yorkie girl.) She's my sweetie.

We talk about anything and everything, except politics. It gets mentioned a little, but for the most part it's avoided.

LOL, I'll keep that in mind and keep my voice down if politics comes up. Thanks for the heads up.

I didn't know that, I hate to have my picture taken. I am not great looking to start with. To make matters worse, I have rosaca and it really shows up in pictures, but I will try to find something that I am not totally embarassed by.

Amber, that was so sweet of you to say. I really have missed having you here. Quite awhile back, I PM'd those who haven't been here for awhile, but I didn't want to be the one to do it again. I know people are busy and have other sites...so do I, and I didn't want to seem too pushy....LOL I'm just glad you're here now and hopefully you'll be here alot!!!

There are quite a few YT members here. I suggested that in our signature, if we used a different name here than at YT to put it there so we would all know who was who. Some did and some didn't.:)

Now Marilyn, quit complaining about your picture. I think you are beautiful inside and out. I love being able to be here and see your beautiful smiling face, makes me feel more at home.:)

Marilyn's right, we show pictures of our babies, everything from our Yorkies to horses. Sheryl (rivermom) recently lost one of her horses. She's had a tough time with it too, bless her. I for one, love seeing everyone's pets.

We've talked a little politics and religion, what I like about this site, is so far, no one has been judgemental. There is a lot of respect here and it shows.
