I'm Engaged!!
 

Well, I just got back from the weekend of my life... Jody proposed to me yesterday!! It was SOOOOOOOO unexpected... I had NO IDEA it was coming this soon... We went away on Thursday to a Bed and Breakfast in Vernon NJ... That night we went to a pub for food and drinks.. The next morning we woke up and drove into Warwick NY to Wawayanda State Park... We hiked down Pump House Trail... Mean while I was flipping out because we were in Bear Country and there was bear poop EVERYWHERE!! Around 10:45 Jody looked at me and said, "i have a present for you in my pocket, do you want it?" I thought he was joking around like maybe he had a rock or stone in his pocket...Anyway, he told me to cover my eyes and when I opened them there he was on one knee holding the ring box opened... "he said, "Brooke, you are so beautiful and I love you more then anything in the world. Would you marry me?" I was totally blown away and said, "Your kidding right?" I started crying and shaking and hugged him and then he's like "um, do you want to marry me" I said of course.. The rig is BEAUTIFUL!! It's exactly what I wanted!! ANyway, it was the most romantic day of my life!! I couldn't have wanted my engagement any other way!! I couldn't wait to call all my friends and family!! Everyone is SOOOOO happy and they love Jody so much!! I wasn't able to take picutres when we actually got engaged cause no one was there but here are some we took back at the room.. Enjoy!!

The ring is EXACTLY what i wanted!! Jody knew exactly what I wanted! I can't believe I am getting married.. It still feels so surreal.. Our parents are ready to plan a wedding!!

Congratulations!!! You look so happy in your photos. :) I remember that I forgot to say yes when Brendon proposed to me, too. About half an hour later he said, so I'm assuming that means yes. lol.

i did the exact same thing. he tells everyone that i was more excited about the ring than the proposal :( he had to ask me if my "oh my goodness, are you serious??" meant yes or no LOL

Congratulations Brooke. I hope you will be very happy. This must be the time for proposals. A lady from work just got engaged Saturday. She lost her husband 2 years ago. About 3 months later she was diagnosed with cancer. She lost her brother a few months ago. But now she is cancer free, her hair is growing back and this man adores her. There is still happiness to be found. Brooke I am so glad you have found your piece of happiness.

I have so much going on I hardly have time for anything.. Between trying to find a job, enjoying my engagement, and planning a wedding.. i am going nuts.. Miss you ladies but I will be on as much as I can and keep you posted

CONGRATS BROOKE!!! I got engaged a month before you :p Isn't it crazy how busy it gets. We've been knee deep in planning and it's a lot of work. How are you coming along?

Planning is going great!! We booked out venue, our phorgraher and our DJ!! We also sent out invitiations to our engagement party that my parents are throwing us!! I am having fun!!
