Thanks to everyone
Even though I haven't been posting I have been logging on and reading. It is so encouraging to know you are all thinking of me and praying. I have my down moments but I am trying to be strong and trust that God can do anything. My children have been great and really stuck by me and so have all of you.
I love you all Thanks so much, Debbie |
Debbie, it's so good to hear from you! You have been on my mind and in my prayers lately. If there's anything I can do to help out please let me know. Just know that you're not alone, God is always with you!

Mom, it's so wonderful to see a post from you!! I've been hoping you'd come here every now and then and maybe use 4wt to work through some of the emotions you're feeling. I can tell the women here really care about you and they love to hear from you. You have a lot of people who love and support you (including me!!!)
*hugs* See you soon. |
Dear Debby,
It's so good to hear from you. We're all here for you. Try to keep posting, even if you need to complain or just vent. Everyone else does it - you're entitled to our support to. Wit6h love and prayers, Judy |
Debbie, so glad to see you've posted. Everyone is right. We are here for you. If you feel the need to rant, rave, cry, YELL, well just anything...please feel free to do it here. We will help you get through all this. Stay strong!!

Thanks so much to everyone. I had an emotional morning. Just the least little thing at work started the silly little crying mode but I worked through it, got a few hugs from co-workers and pulled myself back together. I try to stay upbeat all the time but people at work tell me that's not possible-I will have my down times.
I just have to pull out of it and go on. Thanks for all the support. |
Mom, I'm so sorry you are having a bad day! Did something happen between this morning when I talked to you and now? You seemed so happy this morning...
I know you are still at work, but please feel free to call me if you need to. You know I'd be there in 10 minutes. Just let me know. *hugs* |

Debbie, hope you are ok!! I know it's an emotional roller coaster, so dont be affraid of letting go of some emotions, it's better to let go of the steam, then keeping it bottled up. You will ok girl, hugs, and more hugs! |
Hi Debbie,
It is great to see you posting. I agree with the rest of the lovely ladies, come here anytime, cry , vent, get out those feelings whatever makes you feel good. Trust me by doing the above you do get it out and it feels wonderful. We are all here for you and yes you will have down days, thats ok, your entitled to let it all out.. You are always in my prayers and God is with you, he never deserts anyone. Remember that... |
You seemed to be feeling a lot better tonight. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you. Love you Mom! :bighug:
|
I am having a lot better day today. I was a little sick this morning but feeling better now. I'm a lot better emotionally today except when someone just randomly came up to me and said " I hear you have breast cancer-my neice was only 47 and just died from that" I know it happens but I want to hear the survival stories. Just had to vent a little.
|

Debbie, there ARE a LOT of survivers, if you want to, have a search on the internet. That was very insensitive of her to come up to you, and told you what she did, some people just have no clue. You are doing pretty good, and i'm proud of you!! |
UGGG Debbie, people can be SO thoughtless!
I bet she/he wanted to kick herself when she realized what she'd said! Getting a serious illness really does leave you open to all sorts of strange comments as people often don't know what to say, but feel they should acknowlege it. I have an aunt and a friend who are survivors... 5+ yrs cancer free now and I fully expect you will be in their group. Your state of mind plays SUCH a big role and I sense in you a lot of love and strength. I had a heart attack in my mid 40's, so have heard a few of those "WTF comments" too. I finally decided I felt bad for the people who made them... Most meant well, but were clueless and felt awful later. |
Well I go today for the test results to see if the cancer has spread anywhere else. Angie or I one will let you know the results. Whatever the results I know I just have to remember God is bigger.
|
Dear Debby,
Prayers are coming with you when you get your results. You're surrounded by our love. I'll be checking in later to see the good news, Judy |
Just remembering - when my Father was taken with cancer, I learned how to absolutely not hear what people said to me. I also kept to myself a lot. I went through the process with my best friend, God, who never said anything stupid to me, and the few people who I could trust to be considerate and thoughtful.
Love, Judy |
Mom has some good news, but I'll let her be the one to tell you! :) :) :)
|
Angie, that is such a relief !!!!! (Big Sigh!!!) I can't wait to hear it!!!!

Wow, I sure hope Mom signs on soon! I know you guys want to know, but I just wouldn't feel right stealing her thunder...
Maybe I should call her at work and tell her to post on 4wt. lol |
OH I LOVE GOOD news!
Debbie, where are you? lol We want to celebrate with you if there's good news! |
Dear Debby,
Just knowing you have good news IS good news! Can't wait to hear it. Love, Judy |
Well finally got the youngest to bed so here is the good news. The Ct and Bone scans showed no signs that the cancer had spread to any other organs or bones. This is amazing due to how long I waited to get treatment. It seems to be confined to one breast and lymph nodes. I go Oct. 3rd to have the port for chemo put in and an incisive biopsy to find out what type of chemo and if it is also hormone receptive.
I am not looking forward to chemo or losing my hair but that is a lot better than what the odds would have been if it had spread. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. |
This is wonderful news! I know the chemo sucks, but at the end, the cancer will be gone!
I'm so happy for you. |

You're going to have some rough times, but we're here for you and will gladly help however we can. Thanks so much for sharing the good news. I think we've all been holding our breath for you. It's good to be able to breathe again! :ghug: |
I am having such a hard time typing through my happy tears. I knew God would hear our prayers for you. I am just so thrilled with this wonderful, great news. Just remember.....I'm not letting you out of my prayers until this is completely gone...and it will be soon!!! :ghug:
Don't you let anyone's insensitive comments get you down. Just know that they really don't know what they are saying, but feel the need to say something. :bighug: |
Oh, Debbie, that is such good news. I too, have tears in my eyes. I know that you still have some tough times ahead of you but it's really good to hear some good news. I've been so worried about everything you've been going through. We're here any time you need us and we're still praying!!!!

See how many people care about you mom? You are loved so much and we are here for you every step of the way! *hugs*

BEAUTIFUL post!! Thanks girlfriend! :ghug: |
Thanks to everyone. I am really glad about these results. I still have chemo surgery and radiation but the odds are a lot better now. Thanks to all of you for caring and helping me through this. I can do this with God's help. The surgeon said it won't be easy but I fully hope to see you cancer free after this process.

My prayers too will continue just as long as you need them. |
Just checking in. I like the surgeon. That's such a positive prognosis!
Thank you God. |
That is great news! I have a very close friend who is celebrating her third year of being cancer free and another one that is 2 years. They have both said that there are some great new drugs on the market that have helped significantly with breast cancer.
I am keeping you lifted up in my prayers. |
Hi Debby,
Just checking up on you. I hope you're doing well. With love and prayers, Judy |
Hope you're having a great day today Mom. Love you!
|
Thanks Everyone,
I am a little tired today but that is to be expected for a while. Other than that I am fine today. Just waiting to get the port in on the 3rd and then begin fighting this. Hope everyone is having a good day. |
It's good to hear from you....
