Tears

How often do you cry? Tears of joy, saddness, or just cuz?

It seems women and crying go together like chips and dip so just wondering. :D

xlola 11-07-2007 02:52 PM

then again while watching sad movies i like to cry tooo!:)

Janet 11-07-2007 04:39 PM

I cry very easily. Sad, movies, joy. I've cried more the last 2 days than I have in a long time.

Is it something that you want to share with us? We're here if you need us. {{{{{{Janet}}}}}}

katepoet 11-07-2007 07:45 PM

Not often. No time for it these days. But I do have a good shoulder for those who need it, and I know I have friends on whose shoulders I can lean when I need to, so I am blessed!

Mandy 11-08-2007 02:42 AM

Hmm.... sometimes its frustration that makes me cry, movies can get me in tears, stories others tell me gets me teary - i dont like to cry though.

I want to so bad Diana, but I can't...literally, not emotionally. Like all things...this too shall pass, it's just way to sad to have happened in the first place.

rivermom 11-08-2007 03:55 AM

janet - so sorry. :( Hugs hugs hugs!

Mandy 11-08-2007 04:01 AM

Janet, whatever it is, yes it will pass! I hope you feel better soon, stick around, we are here for you girl - always! *HUGS*

Janet 11-08-2007 06:27 AM

Thanks ladies. Sure wish you all lived closer. Maybe we should all pick a day to move and then do it....LOL It would have to be in the country and be able to have horses so Sheryl could teach us how to ride.

DianaB 11-08-2007 08:18 AM

Maybe we should just plan to meet at Sheryl's house. She lives near some pretty good size towns and I'm sure that there would be a lot to do! I have some family who live near her.

katepoet 11-08-2007 10:49 AM

I want to gather at your annual woman's day, Diana. That sounds like such a blast! Or let's meet in New York City and have Judy take us shopping for fashion and fun. I could even see hitting the cheese markets up in the wilds of Wisconsin with Tink! lol

You are all welcome to consider Virginia in the springtime when the flowers are blooming and the humidity is still low.

Mandy 11-08-2007 10:58 AM

Lets meet in NY in the spring :) maybe for a weekend?

Janet 11-08-2007 11:29 AM

Doesn't that sound fun? Judy is there room for all of us? Oh Judy....where are you?????

Mandy 11-08-2007 11:35 AM

We better hurry LOL... Judy is planning to move ot another State or small town!

rivermom 11-08-2007 12:02 PM

Sorry ladies but we need to go to Mandy's....Spend sometime in the hills of Holland and then ...I hear she is only 4 hours from Paris!!! Talk about a beautiful get together weekend. LOL :p :p

Janet - your riding lesson = get up on horse, hang on, and say giddy-up. :D

Truly there really are so many great area's w/ wonderful people to visit.

Diana - you are pretty close to me as you know...So, my door is ALWAYS open to you if you ever come by this way. (I will feed you probably so come hungry!! ha haaa) :p

DianaB 11-08-2007 12:05 PM

We need to go somewhere that one of us knows so they can take us around to the sites. We could go to Branson. They have some great shows and, I'm sure, that Sheryl and I could come up with some great ideas on things to do.

rivermom 11-08-2007 12:14 PM

Janet - are you near Wheatfield? We have friends there. I've only been to Indiana once, a couple years ago in February. OMG it was cold/windy, LOL. About froze. But we had a super time and I really enjoyed all the sight seeing and food.

Diana - I LOVE Branson. Hubby was just there a few weeks ago. ;)

Mandy 11-08-2007 12:18 PM

HAH!!! You are all very welcome to come here :D and yes, only 4 hours from Paris, i can show you some of the best places in that city :D

Queen_Rayback 11-08-2007 12:33 PM

Sounds like tooo much fun! Where do I sign up?! I say somplace that has a really big spa!

As for the crying... I cry A LOT:( I don't always know why, usually because I am tired, or feeling useless, or guilty. My husband thankfully cares for me very well. I hate to cry sometimes but I just can't help it, it's the only way I know of how to get all the frustration, anger or tiredness out. I don't usually cry for sadness to much. I do, but I don't cry as "passionatly" as I do if I'm angry or frusterated.

Well, that was a little deep...

We are kind close to Wheatfield it is in the NW corner of Indiana, probably about 2.5 hours from me. Although I am near many wheat fields....LOL Well, I'll tell you, you sure came at the wrong time of the year. Early fall and early spring are nice. Starts getting too humid when summer gets closer and just too darn cold in the winter.

I may take you up on that offer. I have family in Fayetteville and West Fork and I might come down after Christmas. If I do I'll let you know.

Yippeeeee!! I'll be here - always am. :p

Lindsey 11-08-2007 06:42 PM

Aw come on, nobody wants to visit Canada? I live in the middle of a bunch of wheat fields! :p

I hate crying. And I cry ALL THE TIME. When I'm stressed, I cry. When I'm happy, I cry. When I'm sad, I cry. When I'm frustrated, I cry. Honestly I feel like I cry almost every day. I never used to cry when I was a teenager. I think birth control has just made me go crazy.

Queen_Rayback 11-08-2007 08:01 PM

Birth Contol! That is the truth huh! I agree with you Lindsey, I didn't cry that much when I was in high school. I also was only 120 pounds! Those were the days! I think my birth control is why I can't lose weight also.

Stupid birth control...

katepoet 11-14-2007 10:37 AM

Holland? OK. We can stop by NY for a weekend and then fly out of LaGuardia (I think that's the international airport there), hit Mandy's in Holland, visit Paris for the shopping and the arts, swing by my cousin's in London because, why not? Anywhere else on that trip?

A friend of mine has started a travel savings account - $20/paycheck - so next summer she can go somewhere. Last summer she went to Italy for 10 days on a whim - a cheap ticket came up on an auction site - it wiped out her savings, hence the separate account. Great idea!

Mandy 11-14-2007 11:01 AM

Lets see.... ya'll just need to buy the air ticket, you can all camp here at my house, we can go to Germany, got friends there where we can camp, got a friend in Paris where we can camp (that would be a total BLAST:D ) got family friends in UK where we can camp, got friends in Belgium where we can camp - where else you wanna go?

Chandra Amaya 11-14-2007 11:06 AM

I cry wayyyy too much as well. I cry mainly when I'm stressed and frustrated. My blood pressure is now through the roof when it is normally very low, too low... I think I need to be back on my anxiety medication.
I do also cry when I'm sad, but I almost always cry when I'm alone. I hate crying too.

katepoet 11-14-2007 11:07 AM

For blood pressure, look at the thread I started on the glycemic index - it should help bring it down.

My blood pressure is up because of the stress I am under not because of what I eat, but thank you for the thought.

Come here :ghug: mail me anytime you want to girl ;)

katepoet 11-14-2007 11:33 AM

What I am saying it that it can be a cycle that works the other way too, the blood pressure being up can cause the stress to be harder to deal with which causes the blood pressure to go higher... I have found that diet and stress are inextricably linked. So taking care of your body with a safe, healthy diet can make the stress easier and less damaging. I'm sure you know what I mean... just a reminder to take good care of yourself while you are going through these hard times. ;)

AngieDoogles 11-14-2007 02:16 PM

I don't think I normally cry very often, unless there's a good reason. The news makes me cry sometimes, because there's so much death and destruction and violence. I cried during class today because we were watching a movie about cyclones and the part about Hurricane Andrew was VERY sad. It was made in 1995 and they talked about how New Orleans was a disaster waiting to happen. The movie said 5 years or 10 years and there would be a devastating hurricane that would break the levies and put 30 feet of downtown under water, causing about 100,000 people to be stranded. Scary how accurate it was! It made me sad that simple things could've been done to prevent so many deaths. I cried during that part as well.

This BC has really messed with my emotions so I'm a lot more moody and prone to cry these days...

rivermom 11-14-2007 02:43 PM

The majority of us are just a bunch of cry babies. ( I mean that in the most nicest way I promise) :D

judy 11-14-2007 05:22 PM

I just found this thread. NYC or upstate NY, just give me a couple of weeks notice,
and you're all more than welcome.

Holland, Virginia, wherever - Oh wait - wasn't I going to win some money for remembering all of my names and take us all to Tahiti on my yacht? I guess that check is in the mail!

As far as crying - I almost never cry. I wish I did - I think it's healthier. I have all the feelings, just not the tears.

Janet, I hope you feel better:love032: :love032: :love032:
