The first pic is a my schedule from this semester. The second is next semester. Do you see how much more white space there is next semester?? That means I'll actually have some free time!!!! :)
|
You have a lot of classes to "practice" Angie. What are you practiceing? LOL :D
I'm glad your load isn't as heavy next semester - You are due for a break! |
You have taken a lot of hours this year. It'll be good to see you have a little extra time (so you can be with us!!)

The actual course name is Social Work Practice Foundations I and II. It's to "practice" our skills in the community rather than just learning about theories in the classroom. The Practice courses are the continuation of the HBSE (Human Behavior in the Social Environment) courses where we have to actually apply the knowledge by doing a semester long project. Practice 2 is for larger populations (groups, communities, organizations) and Practice 1 is for individuals and families. Maybe I just confused you more...but it's complicated to explain. lol |

Thanks for explaining all that. It sounds very interesting actually. And busy. ;) |
Hope you'll spend a lot of that time here Angie. Does look like your classes are interesting though.
|
Sounds very interesting.. Glad that you will have a lesser schedule . Boy how do you kids do it!! lol
|
How much longer do you have? You must be nearing graduation if you're in the field.
The people you'll be working with in the field have no idea that an angel is coming to help them. You're going to be so wonderful at this Angie! I can't wait to hear stories about your fieldwork. |

I mostly have electives left. I'm taking all journalism electives and then I can get a second degree in only two semesters if I want. Helps to keep my options open. Thanks for the compliment Judy. You are such a sweetheart! |
The second degree would be in Journalism right? That's an exciting career!

But then on the other hand, I get one free class every semester while I'm working for the DCS...so when I'm done there, I'd only need one semester to get the Mass. Comm. (journalism) degree. Too many decisions... |

Maybe as time goes on and you get further into your classes the decision will be easier for you. Either way - you deserve a huge pat on the back for all you've done already. You and dedication go hand in hand girl!!!! |

Way to go Angie!
I'm so proud of you. You're a very dear young lady and are making excellent choices for yourself. Way to go! |

It helps to make good choices when you have a supportive husband, a wonderful and sweet mother, and the best group of online friends anyone could ever ask for! ;) |

I agree Debbie.
It truly shows she was raised well and responded appropriately. |
Angie I think it's so wonderful that you have plans. So many today don't have. It just sounds like you've put a lot of thought in what you want for your future and I admire that so much.
|
Aww, you guys are too sweet!
I always have big plans...then I change my mind about a hundred times. It's pretty funny actually because I get so excited and then think of another option and I get excited about that one too and have a hard time choosing. I guess I'll just have to go with the flow and see how many of my plans actually become reality. Life just has too many choices. lol |
You are so smart that you can do whatever you set your mind to, Angie!! I'm very proud of you and what you have planned for your life. You set goals and strive hard to reach them.

I always had plans too Angie. I wanted to be an elementary teacher, hairdresser, dog groomer, and Veterinarian, plus a few other things I can't recall right now. I kept getting side tracked and now I'm a bus driver...go figure.
