What did Santa bring you??? I wanna know. :) Diamonds? Electronics? New puppies?

Santa isn't passing by our home this year - He knows I've been good this year but I told him to focus on the other families this year and to look me up next time he comes into town.

LOL - no diamonds, no puppies awwwww hey i might wanna put a puppy in the girl's stockings ROFL ... they also the ones that got the bling in their stocking, how lucky are they huh!

Of course, all of you know how very good I've been. Well, I do TRY to be good but sometimes I just can't help myself and the orneryness sneaks out!!!! I voted "Yes, of course I'm very good when I'm being bad!"

Awwww my Santa use to be tall/dark & handsome, but i noticed hes going grey LOL - he said, its all the nag nag nagging i do MWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA - i apologized, and told him, its all the poroxide affecting my brain :lol2: :lol2:

I voted 'good when bad' too. Sometimes I'm such a stinker, but I'm good at it..LOL I have no idea what Santa will bring me. I only mentioned 3 items, so we'll see.

I did receive a lot of gifts from the bus kids. I have two lovely candles, hand towel, snowman ornament, seasoned oyster crackers, Tuttie Frutti candies, beautiful wreath, wooden Santa ornament, homemade noodles, chicken broth, choc. covered cherries, and a small Christmas lamp. Everything is greatly appreciated, but I truely wish they would just get their kids a little something extra.

Those kids just loooovvvveeee you Janet. :p You know, I still remember my school bus driver when I was like 6 years old. See, the impact you have on these kids?? That is so darn sweet and I bet their faces were adorable as they were handing you their gifts.

Think of it this way Janet--the parents, by letting the kids give your gifts, are teaching them how great it feels to give to others. I think it's wonderful that they did that for you and a great lesson for the kids at the same time. In my opinion, those kids got more by giving you the gifts than if the parents had just bought them an extra present.

Angie is right Janet. Kids really enjoy giving gifts to grown-ups they love, and they do love you! That's really so sweet. I can't say I blame them!

I never thought of it that way Angie. I know I did the same with my son. I do see their smiles and the way their eyes light up when I open their gift. I just give them a big hug and tell them how happy I am they ride my bus. I do have a great bunch of kids and I love 'em a lot.

And they have a great bus driver. My kids have had good ones and bad ones over the years and I understand how those parents appreciate one like you Janet.

There may have been a few ornery things that you missed but other than that I think that you have a pretty good girl! You have a very wonderful and trouble-free daughter! You're very blessed!

You probably didn't have to 'catch' much Debbie. Angie doesn't seem to be the type that would cause a mother any problems, or Tracye for that matter. I think you did real good with them.:)

Janet yes those kids do love you, I use to work in school and those presents are the best. It comes from their little hearts they get so excited when you open them up.. They will always have good memories of riding on your bus .

Yes she has always been a good girl. But her friend she used to hang out with has said they weren't always so innocent. Nothing bad they just had a little more fun than I thought. I probably would have just laughed if I had known at the time so it wasn't too bad. Just not what I expected.

Thank you Janet but it is not hard to do a good job when you have good kids. I look back and probably would change a lot of things but it all turned out well and they haven't blamed me for the things I did wrong. There probably are still things that I could do better but they still put up with me.

So maybe Santa will be nice and come to my house too.

I'm sure he will Debbie, I'm sure he will!

Dh has no time to go shopping. He wanted to go yesterday and find something for me and I asked him not to. I told him when a pup sells I'd rather take that money and go shopping after Christmas so we get a real deal on what we buy and don't strap ourselves to do it.

SO with puppy buyers coming today AND tomorrow, I'm trying to decide what to ask Santa for and I can't come up with much. LOL
It's bad when you're the hardest person to buy for on your own list! lol

I don't have that problem. I could come up with a lot of things!!!! I think that it's very smart to wait until after Christmas when they have all the sales!!!!
