Yes, they were born during the day...but I'd been up with her since 11:00 PM the night before. I knew she was in stage 1 labor and all she wanted to do was walk the hallway, back and forth every 15-20 minutes. So I didn't get much sleep at all.

I tried find a sub for the bus, but we only had a couple and they couldn't drive. So, I kept Ricky home from school and he played mid-wife. I left at 4 minutes till 7 AM and the first one was born at 7:01 AM. I was only gone 90 minutes so I got to see the last two be born. His Dad was here, but he didn't have a clue, because he didn't see any of the other litters born. I'm so happy and proud Ricky paid attention and had the confidence to stay and help Gidget.

Oh, my, I hadn't thought that you might have been up all night with her. So glad that Ricky could help!! This is why I could never breed. I'd have to leave for work just as the excitement starts.

They are so beautiful.... and 4 little girls. How precious.

I figured that you had found a sub for your bus route but it sounds like Ricky did a good job keeping an eye on Gidget until you got back home. I'm so glad that everything went so well!!!

Thanks all. I am so proud of him. His dad kept asking him..."should we cut the cord" and Ricky said "dad, we need to give her a chance, mom had to do it all last time." So my son did good!!! She did do the cords herself, but by the time I got home, she was exhausted and let me do the last two. It really seemded like she was grateful, bless her heart. She's being a great Mom.

Oh, they're cute as buttons, I love puppies, well who doesn't? Congrats for a job well done Gidget.

Oh, you lucky girl! I envy you your little puppies. Hope you get some sleep!

Hey, you posted the warning. And I've been there helping pull a calf before which is a pretty gross experience. So don't feel bad.

I didn't watch the video cause I was too scared, but the pictures are so adorable!! Congrats Janet! You must be so proud and happy to have four little girls to love and watch grow! They are gorgeous.

Awwwwwwwww I still just can't get over how tiny your pups are!
Very cute but OH my... less than 5 oz just blows me away.

Today, all but one, broke the 5 oz mark. They are doing great.

Glad to see you here Angie, you're missed! It's okay you didn't check the video out. Somethings are a little harder to watch for some than others. I will tell you all you see is the puppy in the sack moving it's front let and then right at the end, Gidget is getting ready to break open the sack.

It looks like to me that that little baby was born with her running shoes on!!! :dog: She may be the one to give you lots of exercise!!! Looks like Gidget was doing a good job with her too.

She did Diana. She did good with her last litter, but she was so much better with this one. She is being a really great mom.

Today the babies are two weeks old so we took some pictures and trimmed those long nails. Only one more to open her eyes. They are weighing 10.9, 9.9, 11.3, 11.1 ounces

My son already has his favorite...

Awwww, Janet, they are precious. We can post yorkie stuff on here, don't worry that it's not YT. Our yorkies are part of our lives and we are sharing our lives on here. Thing is, we can discuss all aspects of our lives, not just the yorkie parts.
