my new grandson
 

his name is Aaden he is 1 month old now and had a really rough start in life, but is doing well now!

Scoob, your little grandson is a real cutie!!!! Look at all of his dark hair!!!! I take it that he was in the hospital for a while since he has a couple of iv's. My twin granddaughter's were born 2 months early and were in the hospital for a month. It's really scary to see how tiny and fragil they are. I'm so glad that he's doing well and he appears to be really filling out. I'm sure that you're a very proud grandmother!!! Congratulations!!!!

he was only a week early but when he was 3 days old he got meningitis so he was back in the hospital after being home for only a day, he had to stay at childrens hospital for 15 days.
i do know about premies though all 3 of my kids were early jess was 3 weeks 6 lbs jake was 6 1/2 weeks 4lbs 5 ozs and ben was 8 weeks early 4 lbs 3 ozs, but the only onee that had problems was jake he would forget to breath and had no sucking reflex. and he was only in the hospital for 2 extra days. so they all came home fast.

Oh my I just love baby pics. He is a real sweetheart...so cute!!!!

He is just a doll!! I know how it goes to see them with all the wires in them.. My last two were premies and it is the worst thing to see them like that. I'm so happy that he is doing well now though!! Congrats he is beautiful!!!! :congrats:

I have 5 grandchildren and they are a blast!!! Three of them are 11 years old (my son had twin girls and 4 months later my daughter had a little girl. We had 3 babies in 4 months!!!), another granddaughter is 8 years old, and we have a 6 year old grandson. Besides I still have a 15 year old at home. Life is interesting!!!

Awwww.. how cute. I am glad he is doing better now. I can not imagine what the terror must be like to have a newborn stay or go back to the hospital. I was lucky with all of my kids.

he is doing great so far, thankyou for asking. there are only a couple of things we have to worry about and thats if he lost any hearing and his liver enzymes are up just a tad but he goes bk to the specialest next month to have that cked and the hearing test will be in a year.
