I can't wait to get outside today. There is still melting snow on the ground and it really does look kind of ugly outside with the mud and all, but it's going to be 58 degrees here today!!! Yay!!!!....:) My son promised he'd go walking with me. It will be so good to be outside. Can't get on the yard or anything...it's still too soft and muddy, but there is the drive and porches and well of course the road.

Then tomorrow...back to 33 degrees :eek: .....will if EVER get spring?

Oh lucky you Janet! We have the opposite here.....low 30's today and then 50's tomorrow.

It's pretty nice here in Rhode Island today - somewhere in the 40's. I think we're going to head to the beach and let the dogs run around.

As long as you promise not to show Pip's pictures to our breeder - he looks like a brillo pad right now. I love it when he looks like chewbacca, but not the look most Border Terrier owners like. We ran into another border a few weeks ago and I swear the other owner almost fainted when I told her that he only gets stripped twice a year.

I took Maggie out this morning to pee, and I just about sank down into the mud! I HATE that! Even though I hate cold weather, I'd rather the cold than the mud! (I know...there's just no making me happy! :D

We got up to 48 degrees today! I was SO excited! I was out playing with the dogs i the snow. (My neighbors surely think I'm insane...) It's been lightly raining, and is supposed to turn to snow and freeze on the roads later, but for the afternoon it's been a treat to be able to go out in sweats and leave the winter coat inside!

We have far too much snow and ice to be able to step in mud yet. LOL Our yard has snow about knee deep all over.

So with this warm weather coming anyone wanna head to the beach with me?

Tomorrow going to be mid 50's until Wed . I believe I AM LOVING IT!!! Spring is definetly in the air..

Ah, everyone's having warm weather but me!!!
Here it was -29 degrees C with the windchill (I just used a converter, that is about -20 degrees F). I was shivering even with my big winter jacket and mittens on. But it looks like next weekend we should get above 0, so it'll start melting then!

It was so pretty out today, as far as sunshine goes. You can hardly see any snow now. It's suppose to rain tonight and I heard we could get 3 inches...boy I hope not. There is water standing everywhere from the snow melting. If it does rain, I don't know if I'll be able to get the bus down the gravel roads...they'll be way too soft.

It was 60 degrees this morning...now it's 55. We are under a winter storm warning because we are to get up to 3 inches of rain this afternoon and then it's suppose to drop in temps below 30 and the rain turn to ice.

I know I've said it before...but ....I HATE WINTER!!!!!!

Is that the school what a beautiful place? Your daughter is going to be a veterinarian? Hope I spelled it correctly lol Thats a wonderful job, my daughter is studying to be a optometrist . Everytime I go to the vets I tell my daughter to change her profession..lol I see that you are in NJ to. I take my dog to Redbank Hospital...

Yes....Pamela is going to be a Veterinarian and yes, that picture was taken on school property! She will be completing her 2nd year soon. One more year in Grenada and then her final year (clinicals) is in the United States. Knowing Pamela, I'm sure she'll be looking for a coastal school like North Carolina, Florida or California!

I'm in Northern Jersey Gina....up near the New York state border...right by Greenwood Lake.

That's what I brought them for!! Enjoy!!!! I'll even sit it up.......right beside mine!!!

This morning going to work it was 70 deg, then a front came through and the temperature dropped to 50 just after lunch. The wind is blowing like crazy. Today was trash day and there were cans & lids blown all down the street this evening.

BTW, I posted on this thread earlier and added a picture of a beach with a lounge chair for you, Tink, but my post isn't here this evening?? Strange how they disappear sometimes.
