Vacation
 

I am leaving this afternoon for the beach!! I don't think I will have internet access but I will keep up with all for you through phone calls to Angie and Traci. I will be back on June 8th. I think this will be good for my 10 year old after what she has been through recently. It will be a break before I start radiation. I will miss you all!!!

Mom made it to the beach. They are staying on the fourteenth floor and my brother loves the view of the beach. He said it is breath taking. Mom sounded so happy. The ride there was much easier for her than she expected it to be. She can even raise her arm over her head now!

lol I'm always left behind. My weekend is the same as always. We just stay here except for last Sunday.

Oh I'm so glad you are getting this break! How far is it to the beach from where you are? What beach did you go to? Hmmmm guess Angie or Traci will have to answer those questions, huh?

She went to Myrtle Beach. She is staying in a resort of the company that Brendon (Angie's husband), John (my husband) and I work for. I am just guessing on this but I think it was like 7 hours ride for her. We live in Northeast TN near the VA line,She has horrible cell service, but it sounds like she is really enjoying herself. She was out shopping when I talked to her yesterday, but she kept dropping the call.

I am back. I'm tired but we had a wonderful time. Perfect weather!!!

This is where we stayed. We were on the fourteenth floor. Our balcony overlooked the oceon. We had a little boy with us that is going into first grade. He was totally confused that there was no thirteenth floor.

Debbie what great pictures!! I love it when everyone posts pictures of their vacations, families, adventures!! Looks like the weather was perfect for you guys.

We always spend the night going and coming at my friend's parents. "Poppa" and "Grandma'" made sure the kids had fun with the golf cart and the bob cat. They always finish up the last night making smores outside over the fire.

Glad I came back here so I didn't miss any pictures!! Looks like a fun ride to me...

Oh that looks like a heavenly vacation! I'm so glad you had such a good time. We go to the Jersey shore the first week of August and your pictures are making me want to go NOW! Thanks for posting pictures and "sharing" your vacation with us.

Debbie, it looks like you had a great time at the beach. I had a great time with your daughter in Chicago! I'm sure that she'll be showing you all of the pictures that we all took with her camera. Both of you will have a lot to tell each other!!!

We go to Lavalette. My two sisters and I each get a house near each other and our families have been doing this for years. It started out with my older sister when her girls were little. She got a house and we used to go and stay for a couple of days. Then when Kevin and Megan were born we decided to get our own house. Now we are up to 3 houses, her girls are all married and have 5 kids (under 6) between them! My younger sister has 1 son and our kids each bring a friend. It's soooo much fun. I look forward to it all year. And bonus: my birthday is always the week we are down there, so I get a party!
