I feel like an old lady today

:( wow i am feeling my age today, not as young as i think i am, i did all that landscaping this weekend, have blisters on almost every finger to prove it, took me at least 6 hours to re-dig all the weeds and push off the red mulch that i didn't like and replace it with the brown mulch and brown landscaping rock that i got.. my back is killing me also from shoveling all the rock and mulch off my truck, alittle sun burnt... If i would have done this 10 years ago wonder if i would be in all the pain that i'm in... hummm.. just feeling old today... body still aching from Saturday.. wow....

DianaB 09-03-2008 05:10 PM

So, about 10 years ago.................you would have been, what?..........like 10 years old!!!!!! I'm sure that you're sore and worn out and ache and all, but I doubt that you feel "old!!!!! Tell me again when you're about............say about...................45 years old!!!!! Just giving you a hard time, GF, I bet that the landscaping looks really good. You know that some pictures would be nice!!!!

HALEY 09-04-2008 03:29 AM

Hey woman i'm going to be 39 in February !!! where did those years go? It took me about 3 days to recover from that one....
i have tons of pictures that i have to get off my camera when i get a min. at home, Micah takes most of my time up when i am home and i can't get on my computer to much, but i will take some pictures of the front of the house and post them for you... i'm going to try and get more pictures of Micah's first hair cut and post today too....

HALEY 09-09-2008 03:20 AM

Ok Mommy dearest,, oh my do you guys remember that movie !!!

DianaB 09-09-2008 06:09 AM

Yes, I remember it. Such a sad movie.

HALEY 09-09-2008 06:26 AM

wasn't that based after a true story? That lady was nuts!!! i felt so sad for that little girl... i just remember the part about the metal hangers she found in her closet... your right that was sad...

Janet 09-09-2008 07:06 AM

Started out feeling like an old woman and now writing about the movie "Mommy Dearest."

I remember seeing that movie and wanting to hug Christina soooo bad. I also wanted to kick Joan Crawfords eyebrows right off her face too. What a sad way to grow up. Makes you wonder if Christina was lying when she wrote the book, since her brother denies it ever happened. I don't know if it was ever decided or not.

My g-daughter, Abigail, will be 6 on February 5th.

February 4th, I'll be 58. I try not to think of it as growing old. I am proud I have lived this long and am strong and healthy.
