OJ Simpson

Anyone watching the trial? What do you think? I think he is guilty.:D

Lindsey 09-15-2008 12:15 PM

I'll post the same thing I posted on YT!

I think he's guilty too, and I thought he was guilty the first time. I think that after literally getting away with murder, he thinks he can get away with anything. I mean, what was the point? Why do something so criminal again? He's not scared of getting caught again. Or maybe deep down he knows he deserves something.

Janet 09-15-2008 12:15 PM

I haven't...I thought he should have fried for killing Nicole and her friend.

gja1000 09-15-2008 02:59 PM

I haven't watched it either - so I don't know. I think he is probably guilty though, as he was for killing Nicole and the other fellow.

Shada 09-15-2008 03:21 PM

How can he not be found guilty with the evidence?
Wish I was on the jury.

I hope he gets the maximum sentence.
That 'man' needs some prison time.

Janet 09-15-2008 04:40 PM

He needs a shocking time if ya ask me!

judy 09-17-2008 09:01 AM

I forgot what it is he did this time, but he's just vile! I can't believe he got away with murder last time and hope he pays for it this time.

Yuck! He's the kind who is just wasting oxygen on this planet.

highlans 09-17-2008 09:44 AM

What did he do? nothing over here about it.

donna1990 09-17-2008 10:19 AM

He didn't kill anyone but is charged with, robbery, kidnapping, etc, think there are 11 counts. I watch the trial on CNN, InLiveSession, used to be Court TV.

Janet 09-17-2008 10:22 AM

Like Judy said...what a waste of breath. I feel so sad for his children.

donna1990 09-17-2008 10:53 AM

I feel sorry for his children too. Have not seen them in the Court Room this time.
Don't know why I watch it, other than I want him to be found guilty. When I see that smug face and the expressions, I FLICK the remote.

Dobie 09-17-2008 11:44 AM

I agree, he thinks he can do whatever he wants without reprecussions - I hope he does some serious jail time

DianaB 09-17-2008 02:24 PM

Isn't it where he took some guys and went into a motel room to get some of his stuff back? I think that he's guilty and I thought that he was guilty before! I think that he just laughs at the law and I hope they put him in prison and feed him bread and water!!!!

Janet 09-17-2008 04:25 PM

Stale bread and day old warm water....lol

NicoleMarcelle 09-19-2008 11:14 AM

while i agree with you all... i think he's guilty also...

i have to say this... must be this legal edumacashuns i'm gettig :p

i think even if he wasn't guilty of this last crime spree... i think the jury would've been likely to find him guilty anyways because of the last verdict...it is still one of the most hotly debated cases and i think it would appease a lot of people if he were found guilty... but i don't think he is getting a fair trial... he's so public and everyone knows about nicole and ron... so i think that's on a lot of jury members minds...

so yes i do think he's guilty...but i don't think he'll get a totally fair and unbiased trial...

just my .02 :p

donna1990 09-19-2008 11:57 AM

I think he will get off, "AGAIN"!!! I can't stand his attorneys, they are so arrogant and disrespectful of the Judge.

Janet 09-19-2008 01:38 PM

Well please let us know what happens. Sometimes our rinky dink town paper doesn't get everything.

Please do keep us updated - I've been so busy that I can't seem to keep up with what's going on in the world.

Janet 09-20-2008 05:26 AM

It is hard sometimes for sure. I should check the news on the puter but I head straight to the forums instead. One of these days I'll learn...lol

judy 09-20-2008 07:12 AM

I have the news on TV for a couple of hours every day. It's not worth the trouble.
You know mostly everything you need to know without the media.

1. We're having an election soon

2. Stuff about Obama

3. Stuff about McCain

4. Stuff about Palin

5. Nothing about Biden

6. The economy

7. Nothing about Iraq

I heard the Emmy's was worth watching either- I guess they didn't put on a very good show this year.

Janet 09-23-2008 07:46 AM

I read that too Dobie. Said it had the worst viewer audience ever! There are more important things in life than the WAY OVERPAID actors and their awards.

judy 09-23-2008 08:01 AM

I don't know who won either, but some guy from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" thought that somebody's ???? dress was overdone, and mostly everyone else looked great. Oh...and a lot of women wore one shoulder dresses. McDreamy was the best dressed man.

(The things I remember amaze me - I can't remember what I did 2 days ago, but this nonsense I remember!)

donna1990 09-23-2008 10:35 AM

I think her name is Tina Fay? She got one for impersonating Sarah Palin.
This OJ trial is a joke, what a waste of time and money for the Courts and attorneys.
The Judge, I love her, she is just a baby sitter at this trial. I love to watch when she argues with the defense attorneys. She actually, has to ask questions to the witness because the attorneys are nuts, she is also their teacher.

Janet 09-23-2008 01:22 PM

Judy...I do the same thing...my son laughs at all the useless information I have.

Donna, when is this joke of a trial suppose to be over?

Nina 10-02-2008 02:12 PM

I have been watching it some days. I like the judge, she doesn't tolerate any nonsense in the courtroom with the lawyers. Big change from Judge Ito, who was a joke.

After all these years, it still bothers me ALOT that OJ got away with double murder. His defense team made a mockery of our justice system in that trial. OJ is the only one I know who can murder two people, leave a blood trail from the crime scene to his house, and still get away with it!! The evidence was so overwhelming, I can't believe he got away with it! It still angers me! And to think, his children were sleeping in the house while he killed their mother. He sickens me. There are so many shady things going on in his life all the time.

Closing arguments have begun, and they expect the jury to have the case by Friday. I hope they find him guilty. There's so much evidence against him, but I have a feeling he will be found guilty of only the lesser charges. He probably won't spend any time in jail.

One day OJ will meet his maker, and then what's he gonna do? I don't think playing the race card will work, and I don't think God cares that he played football. He is one big waste of space, in my opinion.

donna1990 10-02-2008 02:43 PM

I love the Judge. Hope he has to serve some time.

Janet 10-03-2008 07:35 AM

One of OJ's inside men was on Oprah this week, along with Ron Goldman's dad and sister. He said O. J. did kill them for sure. He was on promoting his book, but he was also spilling his guts. He said he didn't care if he had to do jail time, but after 14 years...he just couldn't keep quiet any longer.

donna1990 10-03-2008 11:08 AM

Janet, I missed the show, was it the white haired guy that the bottom teeth stick out, that is writing the book? I am always on the puter when Opray is on.
I love the Judge too.
Bet he walks, again. Found the trial very confusing.

Nina 10-03-2008 11:34 AM

Janet, was his name Mike Gilbert? If so, I read his book. I believe most of what he is saying is true, I just wish he hadn't waited so long to say something.

Janet 10-03-2008 03:16 PM

I think, but not sure, his name was Mike. He sounded like he was telling the truth. I think it's awful though that is says on the inside cover that the profits are going to a charity or something....but he's keeping most of it...only $20,000 is being given away. Sounds like a guy after money more than anything.

Shada 10-04-2008 01:21 AM

Guilty of all charges!!!
Will be sentenced on Dec. 5....

I hope Nicole and Ron Goodmans family was in the courtroom as the guilty verdict was read.. this was 13 years to the day he was aquited of murdering them.

Janet 10-04-2008 04:00 AM

I saw the news....this is so great!!! Hope he never EVER gets out!!! YAY!!! Finally justice is served.

donna1990 10-04-2008 05:11 AM

I can't believe that they reached a verdict so quickly, didn't know about it until my friend from S.C. called me this morning. Justice, yes.

Dobie 10-07-2008 01:44 PM

The Goldman family must have been relieved with this outcome - I hope he is sentenced to life and it gives the families of Nicole and Ron some closure.

judy 10-08-2008 10:16 AM

Everything happens in it's own time! He isn't going to like it in jail. I hope they treat him horribly.
