Japanese IQ Test
 

I've heard that in Japan, employers give this test to potential employees before hiring them.

Goal: Get everyone to the other side of the river.
Rules:
1. Father cannot be with the daughters unless the mother is present.
2. Mother cannot be with the sons unless the father is present.
3. Theif cannot be left with any of the family members unless the policeman is present.
4. Only the father, mother, and policeman know how to operate the raft so at least one of them has to be on the raft in order for it to move.
5. Only 2 people can be on the raft at at time.

Okay, go to this website. When you get there, click on the Big Blue Dot in the bottom right corner to begin. To move the people, click on them. To move the raft, click on the pole with the red circle on top.

I still havn't got it. I even had my boss try it and he messed with it for about 30 min. and couldn't get it. Are you sure it's possible???????????????? LOL

Yes, it is possible. I have done it several times. Amber-IV figured it out, too, and so did Ponyup.

Amber, go ahead and post how to do it. I can't believe of ALL the times I've done that stupid game, I can't figure it out now! So frustrating!

I think I fooled with it so much yesterday that the WRONG way is ingrained in my brain now, you know what I mean?

I GOT IT, I GOT IT....... And my boss just left so I can't show him. He's probly not going to believe me and then I won't be able to do it again....LOL. Damn that took forever.

I finally got it using the instructions sent to me. Man that was hard even with the answer. I had to copy it to word and then separate each step of the instructions. Talk about dense. I don't think I could have ever figured it out on my own. :)

Wow, that was a doozy!! It took me about 20 minutes but I finally figured it out. Now I don't remember what the heck I did. :eek:

Okay, I finally figured it out!! I tried it for like 15 minutes on Friday and didn't get it, so I tried it for like 5 minutes this morning and figured it out! :D YAY!!

Somebody friggin pm me how to do this. It's getting me pissed! :mad: ;)

Friggin got it once...tried to repeat it...NOPE!

I tried to see how fast I could do it agian today... no luck. LOL

I saved the instructions because I can't do it without them. Duh.....!:rolleyes:

Yesterday I sat there and forced myself to solve it about 10 times in a row so I could remember the answer. I think I pretty much know it by heart now. But it kicked my butt the first few times. :D

I've been trying off and on to figure this freaking thing out since Rebecca first posted it......arrrghhhh.......I come in each day and try and just can't get it, have pulled hair trying to do it, so I give up!!!!! To those of you who figured it out, congratulations!! Very, very proud of you all:) So now maybe admin can delete this before I go completely bald :rolleyes: :D
